Para lograrlo se apoya en los contenidos del currículo de las asignaturas de Ciencias de la Naturaleza, Biología y Geología para, posteriormente, aplicarlos al desarrollo de nodos relacionales entre los aprendizajes, siguiendo un orden estructurado para facilitar la atribución de significados de los conceptos o el desarrollo de la memoria semántica, codificar los nuevos conceptos con criterios de significados, asociar los aprendizajes conceptuales con nexos o relaciones identificativas, relacionar los nuevos conceptos con los aprendizajes previos, a través de las relaciones correspondientes, construir categorías a partir de las unidades conceptuales aprendidas, agrupar los contenidos aprendidos en categorías conceptuales, relacionar los elementos pertenecientes a las nuevas categorías, construir relaciones entre las categorías elaboradas, establecer relaciones entre diferentes categorías conceptuales y facilitar la recuperación de la información a partir de las relaciones codificadas.
