La actual edición, además de la correspondiente actualización jurisprudencial y bibliográfica, tiene en cuenta, como principal modificación normativa, la Ley 19/2009, de 23 de noviembre, de Medidas de Fomento y Agilización Procesal del Alquiler y de la Eficiencia Energética de los Edificios, que añade un nuevo apartado en la Ley de Propiedad Horizontal para facilitar que las comunidades de propietarios adopten acuerdos de instalación de sistemas que mejoren la eficiencia energética de los edificios.
