Book Prime Elements of Ordinary Matter Dark Matter Dark Energy

Download or read book Prime Elements of Ordinary Matter Dark Matter Dark Energy written by Vladimir B. Ginzburg and published by Universal-Publishers. This book was released on 2007 with total page 446 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The book describes a history of the vortex theory. Introduced at the dawn of science almost 2600 years ago, it had passed through five phases of accumulation of its strength by absorbing the discoveries made during the Greek civilization, the Copernicus Revolution, the age of electromagnetism, the atomic age, and the information age. During the first four phases (see Chapters 1 through 12 of this book), the development of the vortex theory followed the same misfortunate pattern. Each time, this theory managed to bring attention of a new generation of brilliant scientists, who were enchanted by a deep physical meaning of its basic concept. But, although they employed the latest advances in science, none of them was able to produce a mathematical tool making the vortex theory practically usable. The fifth phase began in 1993 with the discovery of a unique spacetime spiral element, called the toryx. The toryx is a particular case of a multiple-level dynamic spiral with a poetic name helicola that describes the paths of all moving celestial bodies in our universe. The ability of the toryx to be turned inside out made it perfect for modeling the polarized prime elements of matter. A close offspring of the toryx called the helyx turned out to be ideal for modeling the polarized prime elements of the radiation particles. This discovery led to the development of a new version of the vortex theory called Three-Dimensional Spiral String Theory (3D-SST) outlined in Chapters 13 through 16.

Book Matter Dark Matter and Anti Matter

Download or read book Matter Dark Matter and Anti Matter written by Alain Mazure and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2011-11-16 with total page 188 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: For over ten years, the dark side of the universe has been headline news. Detailed studies of the rotation of spiral galaxies, and 'mirages' created by clusters of galaxies bending the light from very remote objects, have convinced astronomers of the presence of large quantities of dark (unseen) matter in the cosmos. The most striking fact is that they seem to compromise about 95% of the matter/energy content of the universe. As for ordinary matter, although we are immersed in a sea of dark particles, including primordial neutrinos and photons from fossil cosmological radiation, both we and our environment are made of ordinary, 'baryonic' matter. Authors Mazure and Le Brun present the inventory of matter, baryonic and exotic, and investigating the nature and fate of matter's twin, anti-matter. They show how technological progress has been a result of basic research, in tandem with the evolution of new ideas, and how the combined effect of these advances might help lift the cosmic veil.

Book excerpt: Meet the players in the most fundamental scientific revolution since Copernicus The Facts of Matter It is one of the most disturbing aspects of our universe: only four per cent of it consists of the matter that makes up every star, planet, and every book. The rest is completely unknown. Acclaimed science writer Richard Panek tells the story of the handful of scientists who have spent the past few decades on a quest to unlock the secrets of “dark matter” and the even stranger substance called “dark energy”. These are perhaps the greatest mysteries in science, and solving them will reshape our understanding of the universe and our place in it. The stakes could not be higher. Panek’s fast-paced narrative, filled with original, in-depth reporting and intimate, behind-the-scenes details, brings this epic story to life for the very first time.

Book Invisible Universe The Dark Matter Dark Energy And The Origin And End Of The Universe

Download or read book Invisible Universe The Dark Matter Dark Energy And The Origin And End Of The Universe written by Antonino Del Popolo and published by World Scientific. This book was released on 2021-04-20 with total page 289 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book describes some of the frontier problems of cosmology: our almost total ignorance of what the Universe is made up of, the mystery of its origin and its end. The book starts with a description of the historical events that led to the construction of the Big Bang model together with the stages that transformed the Universe from a very hot place to a very cold one, full with the structures that we observe today. These structures (stars, galaxies, etc.) constitute only 5% of the contents of the Universe. Concerning the remaining 95%, dubbed dark matter and dark energy, we know very little, and we have only indirect evidence of their existence. The text describes the story and the protagonists who showed the need for the existence of this 'missing matter', the observations, and puzzles they had to solve to understand that dark matter was not ordinary matter. The book describes the hunt for dark matter, carried out with instruments operating in space, on the Earth's surface, and in laboratories built in the bowels of the Earth. It also describes dark energy, which manifests itself in the accelerated expansion of the Universe, and appeared only a few billions of years ago. The book discusses why dark energy must exist and what its existence implies, especially for the future and the end of our Universe.

Download or read book Black Marbles and Bright Energy written by Thomas Moore and published by Createspace Independent Publishing Platform. This book was released on 2018-03-29 with total page 110 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The science of cosmology - why our universe is what it is - abounds with unanswered questions. -What is Dark Matter? -What is Dark Energy? -What is the structure of a Black Hole? -Why is the rate of expansion of the universe increasing? This book provides answers to these questions and many others by proposing an original approach called Black Marble Theory. It is a simple, elegant, and non-mathematical idea that can be easily understood by a non-technical reader. The fundamental proposition is simply that matter can exist in a different state than the ordinary matter that we can see in the universe. It is called "Black Matter." It is produced when all of the space is compressed out of Ordinary Matter by extreme gravity. If there is enough Ordinary Matter to start with, the Black Matter will form a solid sphere called a "Black Marble." Black Marbles form the center of Black Holes. From this basic idea, the theory follows logical steps that provide clear and plausible explanations of the most profound mysteries that confront Physics today. It explains the structure of the Black Hole, the formation of galaxies, and the Big Bang itself! The theory also provides a surprisingly simple explanation of the source and fuel of the Dark Energy that propels the expansion of the universe. In an hour of easy reading, it will become clear... Why our universe is just what it appears to be.

Download or read book Dark Matter and Dark Energy written by Sabino Matarrese and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2011-02-10 with total page 413 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book brings together reviews from leading international authorities on the developments in the study of dark matter and dark energy, as seen from both their cosmological and particle physics side. Studying the physical and astrophysical properties of the dark components of our Universe is a crucial step towards the ultimate goal of unveiling their nature. The work developed from a doctoral school sponsored by the Italian Society of General Relativity and Gravitation. The book starts with a concise introduction to the standard cosmological model, as well as with a presentation of the theory of linear perturbations around a homogeneous and isotropic background. It covers the particle physics and cosmological aspects of dark matter and (dynamical) dark energy, including a discussion of how modified theories of gravity could provide a possible candidate for dark energy. A detailed presentation is also given of the possible ways of testing the theory in terms of cosmic microwave background, galaxy redshift surveys and weak gravitational lensing observations. Included is a chapter reviewing extensively the direct and indirect methods of detection of the hypothetical dark matter particles. Also included is a self-contained introduction to the techniques and most important results of numerical (e.g. N-body) simulations in cosmology. " This volume will be useful to researchers, PhD and graduate students in Astrophysics, Cosmology Physics and Mathematics, who are interested in cosmology, dark matter and dark energy.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: An accessible look at the mysteries that lurk at the edge of the known universe and beyond The observable universe, the part we can see with telescopes, is incredibly vast. Yet recent theories suggest that there is far more to the universe than what our instruments record—in fact, it could be infinite. Colossal flows of galaxies, large empty regions called voids, and other unexplained phenomena offer clues that our own "bubble universe" could be part of a greater realm called the multiverse. How big is the observable universe? What it is made of? What lies beyond it? Was there a time before the Big Bang? Could space have unseen dimensions? In this book, physicist and science writer Paul Halpern explains what we know?and what we hope to soon find out?about our extraordinary cosmos. Explains what we know about the Big Bang, the accelerating universe, dark energy, dark flow, and dark matter to examine some of the theories about the content of the universe and why its edge is getting farther away from us faster Explores the idea that the observable universe could be a hologram and that everything that happens within it might be written on its edge Written by physicist and popular science writer Paul Halpern, whose other books include Collider: The Search for the World's Smallest Particles, and What's Science Ever Done For Us: What the Simpsons Can Teach Us About Physics, Robots, Life, and the Universe

Book The Science of Subtle Energy

Download or read book The Science of Subtle Energy written by Yury Kronn and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2022-04-19 with total page 299 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: • Shares the results of the author’s rigorous, repeatable, and predictable experiments with subtle energy • Shows how the mind interacts with matter by means of subtle energy--the key to the placebo effect, the healing power of affirmations and prayers, and energy medicine • Demonstrates how to harness subtle energy and explains the author’s technology to generate subtle energy formulations with practical applications Instruments of modern physics can measure the energies of the electromagnetic spectrum, but these energies only account for roughly 4 percent of the total identifiable mass-energy of the universe. What makes up the remaining 96%? In this scientifically based yet accessible analysis, Yury Kronn, Ph.D., explores the nature of the remaining 96% of the universe’s mass-energies. Contemporary science calls this massenergy “dark matter,” and the ancients called it life force, prana, or chi. Kronn shows how this subtle energy belongs to the subatomic world and how it follows laws that are fundamentally different from those known to contemporary science. Sharing the results of his rigorous, repeatable, and predictable experiments with subtle energy, the author looks at the possible mechanisms of subtle energy’s interaction with physical matter and with the human body. He shows how the mind interacts with matter by means of subtle energy—giving us the key to understanding the placebo effect and extrasensory perception as well as the healing power of affirmations and energy medicine. Kronn demonstrates how it’s possible to harness subtle energy and explains his development of Vital Force Technology, which integrates ancient knowledge of the life force with modern technology to generate specific subtle energy formulations for practical applications. He presents his experimental results creating subtle energy formulas to positively influence the germination of seeds and the growth of plants. He also demonstrates the possibility of using subtle energy for creating clean and energetic-pollution-free environments for vitality and better healing. Outlining the many benefits of subtle energy technology to individuals, societies, and the planet as a whole, Kronn reveals how the transformative power of subtle energy arises from the vast potential of human consciousness.

Book Dark Matter and Dark Energy

Download or read book Dark Matter and Dark Energy written by Brian Clegg and published by Icon Books. This book was released on 2019-08-08 with total page 121 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: 'Clear and compact ... It's hard to fault as a brief, easily digestible introduction to some of the biggest questions in the Universe' Giles Sparrow, BBC Four's The Sky at Night , Best astronomy and space books of 2019: 5/5 All the matter and light we can see in the universe makes up a trivial 5 per cent of everything. The rest is hidden. This could be the biggest puzzle that science has ever faced. Since the 1970s, astronomers have been aware that galaxies have far too little matter in them to account for the way they spin around: they should fly apart, but something concealed holds them together. That 'something' is dark matter - invisible material in five times the quantity of the familiar stuff of stars and planets. By the 1990s we also knew that the expansion of the universe was accelerating. Something, named dark energy, is pushing it to expand faster and faster. Across the universe, this requires enough energy that the equivalent mass would be nearly fourteen times greater than all the visible material in existence. Brian Clegg explains this major conundrum in modern science and looks at how scientists are beginning to find solutions to it.

Download or read book Our Invisible Bodies written by Jay Alfred and published by Trafford Publishing. This book was released on 2007-02-13 with total page 219 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What has Dark Matter got to do with your Afterlife? In 2006 Jay proposed that dark matter (which comprises about 85 per cent of the matter in the universe) could include self-interacting dark plasma. Subsequently, this proposal received support in the scientific literature. This has significant implications not only for the universe as a whole, but also planet Earth and its inhabitants. In recent years, scientists have pointed out to the life-like characteristics of plasma. How has this life-like dark plasma participated in human evolution? Does dark plasma provide the physical basis for your afterlife? Do we have dark plasma bodies which co-evolved with our ordinary matter bodies but are currently invisible to us? This book explores this in detail, while adhering to experimental data, with some surprising conclusions.

Download or read book Secrets of the Aether written by David W. Thomson III and published by The Aenor Trust. This book was released on 2004-10-06 with total page 304 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Author David Thomson and Jim Bourassa have founded the Quantum AetherDynamics Institute, an organization dedicated to understanding the Aether. For the first time in human history, the Aether is fully quantified based upon empirical data. Through a very simple observation noted nearly 200 years ago by Charles Coulomb, the electromagnetic units have been corrected of an error that has led physics astray for so long. Now, electrodynamics expresses in simple dimensional equations, the neurosciences unite with quantum and classical physics, and we can precisely model the geometry of subatomic particles.
