Why? By the covenant of His own blood, Jesus has made us unto our God kings and priest to reign on the earth. As a king, you have a kingdom and your kingdom is under attack! It is being overrun and violated by demonic kings and kingdoms! The secret to possess the kingdoms of your enemies is through the Word, and prayer! As a king, you have the power to decree and declare the Word of God for it to be established. In this book, you will learn how: To avoid feeble, spiritless, faithless, halfhearted, and spineless prayers. Why? Here is a mystery: In the realms of the spiritual, the weaker spirit bows to the stronger power! Therefore, to dethrone demonic kings and other ruling personalities, and entities over your life: You need to arm all areas of spiritual vulnerabilities in your life. You need to pray with a plan, passion, purpose, power, precision, persistence, and perseverance. You need to pray with faith, firepower, intensity, and expectancy based on the Word at all times. To enter into the Kingdom of heaven, you must be triumphant in many fierce secular trials, and spiritual battles. For these fights, you need anointed weaponry as revealed in Prayer Toolbox Volumes 1 and 2. Do you want to be in control of your destiny, and become a regional taker, a nation changer, and an overcomer of the world? Here is a secret: To legally battle and rout demonic kings and kingdoms, you need the backing of a more powerful king. Fear Not! You have Jesus, the only King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, your Commander-in-Chief to back you up. God has given us, the power of His Word in our mouths to defeat, and destroy nations and overthrow the kingdoms! (Jeremiah 1:10 NKJV) You are the mouthpiece of God, His instrument of dominion to release into His Kingdom, deliverance, restoration, peace, healing, prosperity, protection, and much more on earth!

Book God Did Not Do This To Me

Download or read book God Did Not Do This To Me written by Lisa Stringer and published by Whitaker House. This book was released on 2020-06-02 with total page 184 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Lisa and Doug Stringer were ministering in Massachusetts in March 2015 when a lump in Doug’s throat started to bother him. “I don’t feel well,” he told his wife. “The lump I felt in my throat a few days ago feels larger.” When they were able to see a doctor, they were horrified to learn that Doug had Stage 4 large B-cell lymphoma that was 80 percent aggressive. Doug spent the rest of the day sitting in his car, alone in prayer. Finally, he called Lisa to tell her that he was on his way home and he wanted a family meeting and communion. Emotionally exhausted and noses still running from crying, Lisa, her mom, and Ashley gathered in the family room as Doug told them about his time with God. “God did not do this to me—and if He did not do this to me, then it doesn’t belong to me!” he told them emphatically. It was just what they need to hear. God Did Not Do This to Me is Lisa’s story of the family’s trials and triumphs through a cancer diagnosis. Putting on the armor of God, Doug was determined to turn his battle with cancer into an intercession for the country, even joking that the chemotherapy treatments made him resemble a bald eagle. By the end of the year, Doug’s cancer was in remission. “We know that the Great Physician heard the numerous prayers of our friends and spiritual family from all over the world, and blessed us all with a testimony of His healing power,” Lisa says. “We are forever changed through this experience. He has expanded my heart of compassion, taught me to pour out more grace, to be an even bigger giver, and to appreciate the little things all the more.”

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “Uniformly sophisticated, interesting, and worthwhile” essays focusing on the often misunderstood experiences of Anabaptist women across 400 years (Agricultural History). Equal parts sociology, religious history, and gender studies, this book explores the changing roles and issues surrounding Anabaptist women in communities ranging from sixteenth-century Europe to contemporary North America. Gathered under the overarching theme of the insider/outsider distinction, the essays discuss, among other topics: • How womanhood was defined in early Anabaptist societies of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, and how women served as central figures by convening meetings across class boundaries or becoming religious leaders • How nineteenth-century Amish tightened the connections among the individual, the family, the household, and the community by linking them into a shared framework with the father figure at the helm • The changing work world and domestic life of Mennonite women in the three decades following World War II • The recent ascendency of antimodernism and plain dress among the Amish • The special difficulties faced by scholars who try to apply a historical or sociological method to the very same cultural subgroups from which they derive. The essays in this collection follow a fascinating journey through time and place to give voice to women who are often characterized as the “quiet in the land.” Their voices and their experiences demonstrate the power of religion to shape identity and social practice. “Makes a major contribution to our understanding of Anabaptist history and the ongoing construction of Anabaptist identity.” —Mennonite Quarterly Review “This work is significant both for its breadth . . . and for offering glimpses into the varieties of Mennonite and Amish life.” —Annals of Iowa

Book Generation at the Crossroads

Download or read book Generation at the Crossroads written by Paul Rogat Loeb and published by Rutgers University Press. This book was released on 1994 with total page 472 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Challenging prevailing media stereotypes, Generation at the Crossroads explores the beliefs and choices of the students who came of age in the 1980s and 1990s. For seven years, at over a hundred campuses in thirty states, Paul Loeb asked students about the values they held. He examines their concepts of responsibility, the links they draw between present and future, and how they view themselves in relation to the larger human community in which they live. He brings us a range of voices, from "I'm not that kind of person," to "I had to take a stand." Loeb looks at how the rest of us can serve young people as better role models, and give them courage and vision to help build a better world. This insightful book explores the culture of withdrawal that dominated American campuses through most of the eighties. He locates its roots in historical ignorance, relentless individualism, mistrust of social movements, and a general isolation from urgent realities. He examines why a steadily increasing minority has begun to take on critical public issues, whether environmental activism, apartheid, hunger and homelessness, affordable education, or racial and sexual equity. Loeb looks at individuals who have overcome precisely the barriers he has described, and how their journeys can become models. The generational choices he explores will shape our common future.

Book excerpt: Generational Curses destroys family foundation...we shall be seeing how to fight the occurrences of the past and take control of our tomorrow. A Generational Curse involves negative patterns from your family history that are repeated in your own life. However, God's plan for you is to have a better life and destiny. You can overcome these curses of the past by making the most use of the power in prayers and obedient to God's word as you will be seeing some of them emphasized in this book. According to Scriptural narrative of Abraham's family linage, the iniquity of deception was randomly identified, which indirectly became a stronghold that affected the lives of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Jacob's sons in their generations. (See Genesis 12:10-20, 20, 26:1-11, 27:1-40, 37:12-36.) On the other hand, the New Testament example of Lois, Eunice, and Timothy highly reveals the richness of a heritage of faith. I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also.(II Timothy 1:5.)When we recognize how our lives are negatively influenced by our ancestors, we can take action appropriately to that influence by sincerely bringing the entire family line into prayer of repentance. We should also be thankful and celebrate the good that has been passed down through our families foundations. For as much as we know the importance of building a good foundation towards a goal or vision, most times we are in a hurry to carry out careful and proper analysis about the subject. When a Foundation is bad it has no respect of our ignorance, status and age. It is not a religious creed; it's the reality of life. The submission is this, whether you know or believe, it has grip on you. Primarily, we are narrowing down this discuss on the foundations that affects our lives and destiny. The purpose of this book is to address faulty family foundations in the light of God's word and activate salvation and deliverance where necessary. Principally, the family is the foundation of every human born on the earth. So most of the troubles we face are traceable to our originality. Many factors spark the interest, including the root of the man and woman that give birth to you, the things you have done which directly or indirectly affects the already laid down structure. Our ancestors sinned and are no more, and we bear their punishment. Lamentation 5:7.People rejecting the knowledge of God's word, forfeit a firm foundation and establishes their own woos without knowing. At any time we forgot the law of God, neither desire nor endeavor to retain it in mind, nor to transmit the remembrance of it to their posterity, and therefore ironically without knowing we are we drafting into a breech in communication with God. When we don't educate our foundation, as we ought to have done, in the knowledge of God and their duty to him, and therefore God will renounce such a people, as not in covenant with him. Note, If parents do not teach their children, when they are young, to remember their Creator, they cannot expect that their Creator should remember them and fight battles link to their foundations. This book is written to awake families to expect some stress with the workload or family dynamics in fighting to achieve and maintain a unify solid foundation, which can be obtained by getting together as often as possible to figure out how to help each other grow a stronger foundation. When dealing with family foundation it is very important we take a comprehensive investigation inside out, identify generational sins, and break free from the curse once and for all. Now is the time for you to breakout from every evil of the past and take control of your future. What you do not confront, you cannot conquer.

Book excerpt: What had happened to my baby brother? How did a tiny little pill shatter our family? When did we first begin losing Pat? These are the harrowing questions that plagued Erin Marie Daly after her youngest brother Pat, an OxyContin addict, was found dead of a heroin overdose at the age of twenty. In just a few short years, the powerful prescription painkiller had transformed him from a fun-loving ball of energy to a heroin addict hell-bent on getting his next fix. Yet even as Pat’s addiction destroyed his external life, his internal struggle with opiates was far more heart-wrenching. Erin set out on a painful personal journey, turning a journalistic eye on her brother’s addiction; in the process, she was startled to discover a new twist to the ongoing prescription drug epidemic. That kids are hooked on prescription drugs is nothing new what is new is the rising number of young heroin addicts whose addiction began with pills in suburban bedrooms, and how a generation of young people playing around with today’s increasingly powerful opiods are finding themselves in the frightening grip of heroin. While many books a have tackled the topic of Big Pharma, drug addiction, and our increasingly over-medicated society, Generation Rx offers an entirely new look at what the prescription pill epidemic means for today’s youth and the world around them.

Download or read book The Church of All Ages written by Howard A. Vanderwell and published by Rowman & Littlefield. This book was released on 2007-12-17 with total page 249 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Many congregations today experience collisions between parents who ant to spend time with their children and age-segregated church programming, as well as between the children worshiping in their pews and the increasing number of seniors in the same pew. Among the questions these congregations struggle to address are these: Should we try to hold the generations together when we worship/ Is it even possible? Led by pastor and resource developer Howard Vanderwell, nine writers--pastors, teachers, worship planners, and others serving in specialized ministries--offer their reflections on issues congregational leaders need to address as they design their worship ministry. In addition, numerous sidebars illustrate the diversity of practices in the church today. Contributors do not propose easy answers or instant solutions. Rather, they guide readers as they craft ministries and practices that fit their own community, heritage, and history. Each chapter includes questions for reflection and group discussion, and an appendix provides guidelines for small group use. The thread that connects these varied contributions is the belief that there is no greater privilege for Christians than worshiping God, and there is no better way to do that than as an intergenerational community in which all are important and all encourage and nurture the faith of the others.
