Charlene and Bob's favorite hobby is observing Amber and trying to understand the things she does. Charlene, Bob and Amber are constantly looking for dog events sponsored by charitable organizations. They are especially involved in the activities of the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons, which operates a no-kill shelter in Wainscott, New York.
