The poems have been penned to fuel readers to follow their dreams and goals, and accomplish what may have at first seemed impossible to achieve. With a stirring introduction which tees up the subject matter in this text, Rodrick gives life to his words in an amazing way, nudging his audience gently towards their fruitfulness. Like a firefly light, Walters' work is deeply introspective with direct prose making these poems linger on and return from time to time. The poet has employed an adept control of imagery, making the key message easily digestible. Poems of Inspiration: A Daily Dose of Self-Motivation is no doubt a literary salve which deserves a place on everyone's nightstand or coffee table. Its fundamental message of hope and inspiration is current and timeless. It's a worthy companion in the journey of life and a constant reminder not to give up but carry on and reach for the stars." -Pacific Book Review "In Walters' poetry compilation, his core purpose is to give readers the tools to recognize and respond to their untapped potential. He strips away all the fluff that one may get in denser works, providing a simplified way to process the words. The sheer determination to empower his readers is compelling. With respect to the style...the focus isn't on exquisite poetic technique but rather a form of expression that can forcefully take Walters' thoughts and convey them with intensity and the power to create lasting change. He presents readers with hope for change, a chance to step into who one is meant to be. Walters provides a roadmap to instill confidence in his audience, to give them the faith that their journey and their ordeals are not theirs alone. His poetry is a reminder to readers that resilience prevails. By taking just one extra step, they will see hope awaiting their arrival just around the corner." -US Review of Books "Rodrick is not only a motivational speaker but is also a motivational doer. I expect great things from him." -Dr. Willie Jolley, Awarding-Winning Hall of Fame Speaker and Bestselling Author "Very eloquently spoken. I was very impressed with your story of overcoming so many obstacles to become the talented communicator that you are today." -Bob Losure, Former CNN Anchor and Bestselling Author

Through the years, my desire was to publish and share with others who may need encouragement. Many poems have been emailed and handed to those in need along the way. As friends and loved ones were in valleys and going through trials, God would give me words of encouragement for them. Every poem was written out of a need someone had that the Lord sent my way. The poems span many years of writing and are from the heart, as the Holy Spirit led. May the words continue to bless and encourage those who read. God has answered so many prayers through the years, and with the publishing of this the poetry, yet another is answered. May God Bless each of you.

This book was released on 2021-08-04 with total page 62 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Christmas 2006, before there was A Collection of Poems and Words of Encouragement and Inspiration, I gave my mother a gift from my heart: "A Daughter's Poem." Eight years later, my father passed away. The morning of his funeral, I woke up at 3:30, grabbed pen and paper, and wrote the poem "A Tribute to My Dad." My parents lived on top of a mountain in the Wichita Mountain Range and Wildlife Refuge in Oklahoma, five hundred miles from my front door. Back in the day, my family and I, mom, and dad had great adventures climbing mountains, hiking trails, and watching the buffalo roam. Most days, in the still of the early morning light, dad would take their dog, Darla, for a walk down the hill and back. On occasion, I walked with them. On one such occasion, dad said he wanted to show me something interesting. So I followed him to the front line of the property where stood an old, snarled, twisted tree. In the middle of the tree trunk was a big hole. When you looked inside the hole, you could see the trunk was hollow. Whenever you discover a hole in the trunk of a tree, the first rule is to put a secret message in a glass jar and drop it down into the hole. And that's just what we did. When those beautiful days surrendered to evening shadows, my mom and I would sit on the swing in her garden, eat ice cream, talk about days gone by, and watch the sun slide behind the mountaintops. Years passed and seasons changed, and I understood that my parent's unconditional love and unselfish acts of kindness were unspoken words of encouragement, which inspired this writer to collect and share her own words of encouragement and inspiration.

Download or read book Inspirational Poems written by Mildred Marie Davis and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2017-07-19 with total page 117 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Inspirational Poems (Encouragement on Your Path of Life) is a book of poems and short stories to give you encouragement on your path of life. The Lord has already paved and predestined our path before we were born. All of us have a path that we have to take, whether one that we have made on our own, or the path that the Lord has chosen and He has paved for us. He does let us choose to what path will take. Although, the Lord wants us to choose and to stay on our right path, because He doesnt want any hurt or harm to come to us. We are His children and He always wants to protect us. Sometimes, we make our own lives more difficult than they have to be, by our own choosing. The Lord only wants the very best for His children, He even tells us so in His word. This is why we should always study His word and go to Him in prayer when we are not sure of the path that He wants us to take. Then, we will know that we are always on our right path of life that the Lord has already paved and predestined for us, even before our birth.

Download or read book 40 Poems of Praise and Inspiration written by Marcus Descant and published by Page Publishing Inc. This book was released on 2023-06-26 with total page 187 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: 40 Poems of Praise and Inspiration: Who Do You Say That I Am? is an easy-to-read book of Christian poetry. Writing this book fulfilled a personal goal of mine and has covered a span of forty years to completion. As you know, forty is a significant number in the Bible. There are over 150 times where the number forty is mentioned in the Bible, giving the number forty a great significance. For example: Moses and the Israelites wandered forty years in the desert; God destroyed the world in the great flood, lasting forty days and forty nights; Jesus wandered in the desert for forty days of prayer and fasting; and many more examples can be found. The format of the book is arranged in order to tell the story of Jesus's life on earth through poetry. It begins with His birth and progresses on to the resurrection and descent of the Holy Spirit. After each chapter, study guides have been developed for individual or group study, depending on the needs of the reader. This book can be read for enjoyment and also used to extend knowledge and reinforcement of Christian beliefs. Additionally, Christian schools, organizations, and prayer groups can use this book to help anyone wanting to deepen their relationship with God. It has been a joy to write this book, and I hope it is helpful for anyone wanting to develop a relationship with the Lord or strengthening the relationship they already have.
