Nous proposons une spécification fonctionnelle des connaissances sur les programmes de la bibliothèque, sur les données manipulées, ainsi que sur la planification et l'exécution des programmes. Cette spécification fonctionnelle a été implantée dans un moteur de pilotage de programmes pulsar. Ce moteur a été testé avec une application de détection d'objets dans des scènes routières (Prométhée) et une application en imagerie médicale (afsim)
