Book Pieces of My Path

Download or read book Pieces of My Path written by Thomas Riddell and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2009-08-28 with total page 688 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: As the years move on I think many of us don't really consider the subtle but sometimes enormouschanges that can take place in the human mind over the course of time. We often hear people say, 'I'd love to be eighteen again and know what I know now'¦' but how many of us would want to put our past lives out there for the whole world to see; especially when the path that we've walked was chest deep in pain and turmoil? It was in January of 2006 that I decided to write PIECES OF MY PATH. What precipitated my putting finger to keyboard was located in a cardboard box, stashed away and wrapped in a black garbage bag high upon a shelf in the guest bedroom closet. I was thinking a lot about my 'dark days' and how far I had come from those crippling depressed times in the early 90's so I decided to pull down that black bag filled with memories and take a peek back into a bleak, yet rewarding, past.

Book excerpt: Our lives should always be rejuvenated, renewed, and revitalized. If not, what would be the outcome? It is never too late to resuscitate ourselves, our visions, and aspirations. Created in His image, God made us whole. We are not missing a thing. Sometimes we feel like we are shattered and have left pieces behind that are gone forever, but they are not. The pieces of our lives predetermine a destiny. What pieces given to you have been misplaced, forsaken, pushed asunder, buried, tossed to the wind, stolen, etc.? Their value is inconceivable in life because they justify the blueprint regarding your purpose and its pursuit in life. The compilation of Pieces addresses the resurrection of failures, broken dreams, hopes, aspirations, and whatever else caused the pieces of your life to seemingly unravel and cause you to question your identity and existence. Simply resuscitate and live! Live your abundant, predestined life. Why? Because you were created in the image of God. Pieces reflects who you really are, not who you >em>think you are. You have to be cognizant of who you are in the eyes of God. You are called to soar on eagles wings. Pieces launches you in that direction. Take flight!

Book Undone My Path Home

Download or read book Undone My Path Home written by Rose Northfield and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2015-02-05 with total page 353 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The world around me is dark and bitter. I know that my walk is not straight. My veins are sore and broken. My hands tremble, and my head is fogged with misery and death. Ive lost my hope, my faith, and my way. Ive been blinded by the darkness; I cant find the light. Revelation of my iniquity causes tears to well up in my eyes, blurring my vision. But then, something starts to happen with the tears. They begin to purify my sight. I look up at the sky as the clouds start to dissipate, and the sun peaks through with its long warm rays, touching my inner core, building within it the strength of true existence. My veins begin to heal and strengthen; the blood once again flowing through them with courageous life. As I wake up, I am able to see the world around me, the life and the death. The death is like a lethal smog existing within our atmosphere patiently awaiting its next victim. Whereas, there is a fresh clear rushing waterfall that brings life to all who choose to dwell along it. That is where I found my home, and I will not turn away from it again. I cried out, I am slipping! but your unfailing love, O Lord, supported me. Psalm 94:18, NLT

Book My Path to Dying to Self Spiritual Dynamics and the Struggle of the Modern Day Christian

Download or read book My Path to Dying to Self Spiritual Dynamics and the Struggle of the Modern Day Christian written by Eric Schmidt and published by . This book was released on 2021-12-22 with total page 191 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I am a part of a traveling ministry and visit home churches around the United States. Starting in late 2002. In that time I have seen a great many Christians from all around the nation in many different situations. I had what I thought Christians were like and what they did and didn't do. But quickly found out that Christians didn't always act the way they should or knew one thing really well, but not another. Things I've seen that repeated over and over again, in many situations. It's not like you can go up to someone and tell them what they are doing very easily. I felt it was better for me to write about what I have seen and what should be. I have also written in this book about my personal struggles to attain godliness. I view dying to self as a continual process, and that one has never fully arrived; there are many veils peeled away in due process. I believe that there are still levels of maturity that are not even attained yet. I felt I could fully say what I would like all Christians to hear. This is my portion, and it is incomplete, because everybody has a piece to the puzzle. "We need to have humility to take our pieces and to put them together"(paraphrased Rick Joyner). I'm not the all in all who knows all things, I'm not perfect. I am not an intense person, so I try to say things in such a way to try to not offend, but on the other side, I feel that the truth needs to be said. I think we often overlook the simple things Jesus said in the gospels, many things that we often forget about. This book was written in spurts all around the nation over a period of about 15 years. If you want to know what the book is about, the easiest way is to go through the chapters list (topics). Book Bits Pieces Of a Biologist s Journey into Spirit

Download or read book Bits Pieces Of a Biologist s Journey into Spirit written by Janet Southall Connell and published by BalboaPress. This book was released on 2012-04-28 with total page 146 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Bits & Pieces has been a tool for understanding myself—a more peaceful me. Writing this book has allowed me to open doors to discover more of who “I am.” I have had experiences, shifted ideas, sorted facts, discovered some of my beliefs and brought together some of my ideas about biology and spirituality. My hope is that others might find more self-understanding, more self-realization from sharing my story. We just might discover we are more alike than different. I was feeling so crazy, detached and miserable, with anxiety galore. About three years ago I was searching for a feel-better place. Among all the modalities I tried, I walked into a Center for Spiritual Living, thinking this might be an answer. At the time it was an unconscious choice, walking this spiritual path, but now it’s a conscious choice. I knew I didn’t like feeling this crazy, and that was a motivator for me, an inertia buster, as I call it. I have had shifts of consciousness, observed different viewpoints and I have totally changed my ideas of how things work. A transformation, my evolution in consciousness. Because of my personal and our collective consciousness, a spiritual path may not be what we think, because things aren’t always as they seem. It’s all in our views and our beliefs. The destination, unknown to me at the time, was to walk a spiritual path. My life journey consisted of experiences, that allowed me to reach my current understanding about life. I have realized that we are following our destiny all the time, creating life on the go. The best way is to become aware, we become empowered making it a better journey—a better life for me and for you. And the journey continues...
