La GARI est un matériel composé de 9 vidéos implicites appariées chacune à 9 vidéos explicites et de questionnaires vérifiant la compréhension. Cet outil a été proposé à une population de 12 patients diagnostiqués aphasiques pragmatiques et de 36 témoins appariés en âge, sexe et niveau socio-culturel. L'ensemble du protocole comportait des épreuves d'inclusion et d'exclusion, des tests orthophoniques et des tests neuropsychologiques. Les résultats des patients se sont révélés plus faibles que ceux des témoins,confirmant alors notre hypothèse principale. Cette différence s'est d'autant plus observée pour les scènes implicites et les questions ouvertes des questionnaires. Notre étude a ainsi permis de vérifier que ce matériel pouvait constituer un outil pertinent pour l'évaluation du raisonnement inférentiel en orthophonie. Il serait intéressant qu'elle soit reconduite auprès d'un échantillon plus important de patients et de témoins afin de poursuivre la validation et la normalisation de la GARI.
