Book M thode variationnelle d optimisation et d adaptation de maillages structur s tridimensionnels

Download or read book M thode variationnelle d optimisation et d adaptation de maillages structur s tridimensionnels written by JEAN.. CABELLO and published by . This book was released on 1990 with total page 216 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: DANS CETTE THESE, NOUS PRESENTONS LES DEVELOPPEMENTS RECENTS D'UNE NOUVELLE METHODE VARIATIONNELLE, INTRODUITE PAR JACQUOTTE, POUR L'OPTIMISATION ET L'ADAPTATION DE MAILLAGES STRUCTURES BI- ET TRI-DIMENSIONNELS. LES DIFFERENTES TECHNIQUES DE GENERATION DE MAILLAGES STRUCTURES SONT RAPPELEES. LES AVANTAGES ET LES INCONVENIENTS INHERENTS A CHAQUE METHODE SONT DEGAGES. NOUS RAPPELONS LES PRINCIPALES ETAPES DE LA CONSTRUCTION DE LA METHODE VARIATIONNELLE PROPOSEE. L'APPROCHE PRESENTEE EST BASEE SUR LES PRINCIPES DE LA MECANIQUE DES MILIEUX CONTINUS. LE CADRE THEORIQUE S'INSPIRE CELUI DE L'ELASTICITE TRIDIMENSIONNELLE NON LINEAIRE. A PARTIR D'AXIOMES GEOMETRIQUES SIMPLES, REPOSANT SUR DES PROPRIETES MECANIQUES, NOUS INTRODUISONS DES FONCTIONNELLES QUI NE SONT PAS DEFINIES EN TERME DE REGULARITE, ORTHOGONALITE ET VARIATION CONTINUE DES VOLUMES, MAIS EN TERME DE MESURE DE LA DEFORMATION ENTRE UNE CELLULE DE REFERENCE ET UNE MAILLE COURANTE. CES FONCTIONNELLES DEPENDENT DES INVARIANTS PRINCIPAUX DE LA MATRICE DES DEFORMATIONS (TENSEUR METRIQUE) ASSOCIEE A LA TRANSFORMATION ENTRE LES DEUX CELLULES. L'OPTIMISATION DU MAILLAGE CONDUIT A UN PROBLEME DE MINIMISATION DE L'ENERGIE DE DEFORMATION D'UN MATERIAU HYPERELASTIQUE, QUASI-INCOMPRESSIBLE. ON IMPOSE UNE PROPRIETE DE CONVEXITE A LA FONCTIONNELLE; ALORS, LE PROBLEME DE MINIMISATION EST BIEN POSE. LA MINIMISATION SERA EFFECTUEE PAR UNE METHODE DE GRADIENT CONJUGUE. NOUS TERMINONS EN PRESENTANT LES RESULTATS NUMERIQUES OBTENUS, EN TRIDIMENSIONNEL. CES TESTS MONTRENT LA ROBUSTESSE ET L'EFFICACITE DE LA METHODE

Book Applications of Mesh Generation to Complex 3 D Configurations

Download or read book Applications of Mesh Generation to Complex 3 D Configurations written by North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Advisory Group for Aerospace Research and Development. Fluid Dynamics Panel. Specialists' Meeting and published by . This book was released on 1990 with total page 316 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The AGARD Fluid Dynamics Panel sponsored this Symposium to provide a survey of the capabilities of the CFD community for griding complex 3-D configurations. The intent was to provide some insight to the present state of grid generation for complex configurations to help assess whether this task presents a long-term stumbling block to the routine use of CFD in aerodynamic applications. To this end, the meeting was structured in five sessions: General Surveys, Algebraic Grid Generation, Block Structured Meshes, Multiblock-Adaptive Meshes and Unstructured Meshes. Thwenty-two papers from these sessions amply gemonstrated that the viability of a numerical solution depends directly on the quality of the mesh and surface representation as measured by its spacing and resolution. Of Particular interest was the mesh generation for complex configurations, such as advanced fighter or transport aircraft, missiles and space vehicles, where complex geometries and/or complex flowfields have to be analysed. Results from this meeting indicate that geometry discretization and generation of meshes for complex 3-D configurations in aerospace will continue to be time- and cost-consuming operations fro some time to come.

Book Pr optimisation de maillages automatiques tridimensionnels pour les m thodes num riques

Download or read book Pr optimisation de maillages automatiques tridimensionnels pour les m thodes num riques written by Jean-Christophe Cuillière and published by . This book was released on 1993 with total page 185 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book Adaptation de maillages l ments finis volumiques et surfaciques partir d un calcul d erreur de discr tisation written by Marie-Hélène Colson and published by . This book was released on 1997 with total page 181 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Advances in Adaptive Computational Methods in Mechanics

Download or read book Advances in Adaptive Computational Methods in Mechanics written by P. Ladeveze and published by Elsevier. This book was released on 1998-06-23 with total page 539 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Mastering modelling, and in particular numerical models, is becoming a crucial and central question in modern computational mechanics. Various tools, able to quantify the quality of a model with regard to another one taken as the reference, have been derived. Applied to computational strategies, these tools lead to new computational methods which are called "adaptive". The present book is concerned with outlining the state of the art and the latest advances in both these important areas.Papers are selected from a Workshop (Cachan 17-19 September 1997) which is the third of a series devoted to Error Estimators and Adaptivity in Computational Mechanics. The Cachan Workshop dealt with latest advances in adaptive computational methods in mechanics and their impacts on solving engineering problems. It was centered too on providing answers to simple questions such as: what is being used or can be used at present to solve engineering problems? What should be the state of art in the year 2000? What are the new questions involving error estimators and their applications?

Book Mastering Calculations in Linear and Nonlinear Mechanics

Download or read book Mastering Calculations in Linear and Nonlinear Mechanics written by Pierre Ladevèze and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2004-12-16 with total page 438 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book deals with the management of calculations in linear and nonlinear mechanics. Particular attention is given to error estimators and indicators for structural analysis. The accent is on the concept of error in constitutive relation. An important part of the work is also devoted to the utilization of the error estimators involved in a calculation, beginning with the parameters related to the mesh. Many of the topics are taken from the most recent research by the authors: local error estimators, extention of the concept of error in constitutive relation to nonlinear evolution problems and dynamic problems, adaptive improvement of calculations in nonlinear mechanics. This work is intended for all those interested in mechanics: students, researchers and engineers concerned with the construction of models as well as their simulation for industrial purposes.
