The solutions and tests manual has the answers to those questions. Because of the differences between the first and second editions, students in a group setting cannot use both. It explains in easy language, complex topics. There are links to demonstrations, experiments, simulations, videos, and funny examples of science. This book is written to make physical science fun, as all science should be. Normally a textbook is written so the teacher can make a lesson from it, this one is the opposite. These are my lessons converted into a textbook. I know the lessons and examples work, so the textbook should also.Since this is an e-book it also includes links to my power point lessons (in video form), links to videos, demonstrations, and simulations. There are a lot of links in each chapter. This is self-published book designed to be an affordable online textbook for middle school or home school children. The United States' position in the global economy is declining, in part because U.S. workers lack fundamental knowledge in these fields. To address the critical issues of U.S. competitiveness and to better prepare the workforce, A Framework for K-12 Science Education proposes a new approach to K-12 science education that will capture students' interest and provide them with the necessary foundational knowledge in the field. A Framework for K-12 Science Education outlines a broad set of expectations for students in science and engineering in grades K-12. These expectations will inform the development of new standards for K-12 science education and, subsequently, revisions to curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional development for educators. This book identifies three dimensions that convey the core ideas and practices around which science and engineering education in these grades should be built.
