Book excerpt: Paul in 2 Corinthians delivers a new concept to his audience, one in which is described by him as " being caught up into paradise." Most scholars who hold to a predominantly evangelical and premillennial view contest that Paul is describing not a second heaven, but; moreover, a second tribulation before the final rapture. Some modern-day scholars have referred to Paul's concept as people being delivered over to Satan which follows Paul's Jewish-Christian theology in Romans 3:21 to 4:25 where Paul defends his case of justification by faith through Christ' faith. Also, in Hebrews chapters 9 through 10, Paul preaches a similar message but of the converse towards his argument in Romans 3:21 to 4:25. This time, our sanctification in Christianity achieved through perfecting ourselves in Christ. Following a literal translation of 2 Corinthians 12:1-10, Paul is likening his discourse of the thorn stuck in his flesh to the characteristics and attributes of the story of Job. Job was a man who God let Satan tempt into sin, so that Job would be directly delivered by Christ' righteousness and by having faith in Him, Job is declared righteous in the fulfilling of God's will. Albeit, Paul talks about how anguished the thorn in his flesh in this vision of his has changed him as a man. While most outside the faith will call us hypocrites and people who judge others, we must base our exhorting of others on their countenance before God. The position of one before God is determined and judged by God through these two theological truths coming together. First, justification is achieved by complying in portion with Jesus Christ faith to His Father's tasks at hand. We need to show the same reverence for God. Secondly, for all of us to achieve sanctification through the jurisdiction of continually imposed faith that fills all these requirements through sanctification. I too have seen the whereabouts of this third heaven, but instead, I want to show us the trials, tribulations, and final liberation of one's escape after the process of God giving some over to Satan. I must remind you that this first book in the Dragon Niche's series Prudence to Wisdom only covers the moral and ethical philosophy behind the divine activity and theological discourse. However, specific ordinances and edicts from God have been purposely left out until the sequel comes out. May you enjoy finding your new liberation in Christ. God bless! Psalm 1421 I cry out to the Lord with my voice; with my voice to the Lord I make my supplication.2 I pour out my complaint before Him; I declare before Him my trouble.3 When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then you knew my path. In the way in which I walk, they have secretly set a snare for me.4 Look on my right hand and see, For there is no one who acknowledges me; refuge has failed me; no one cares for my soul.5 I cried out to You, O Lord: I said, " You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.6 Attend to my cry, for I am brought very low; deliver me from my persecutors, for they are stronger than I.7 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise Your name; the righteous shall surround me, for You shall deal bountifully with me" ( Psa. 142, NKJV).The Third Heaven( 2 Cor. 12:1-6)1 It is doubtless not profitable for me to boast. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord:2 I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago- whether in the body I do not know, God knows- such a one was caught up to the third heaven.3 And I know such a man-whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows-4 how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.5 Of such a one I will boast; yet of myself I will not boast, except in my infirmities. 6 For though I might desire to boast, I will not be a fool; for I will speak the truth. But I refrain, lest anyone should think of me above what he sees me to be or hears from me.
