Están estructuradas en seis “trípticos”, formado cada uno de ellos por tres movimientos: una Recercata (preludio de medida libre), una Fuga y una Sonata. Como complemento a la edición, se incluye una colección de seis intentos o fugas que aparece copiada en algunos manuscritos de finales del siglo XVIII. Esta colección presenta versiones de cinco de las fugas de Albero incluidas en las Obras, junto a un intento o fuga de José Teixidor (1751-ca. 1814).
