Book Introduction to Neutrosophic Statistics

Download or read book Introduction to Neutrosophic Statistics written by Florentin Smarandache and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on 2014 with total page 125 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Neutrosophic Statistics means statistical analysis of population or sample that has indeterminate (imprecise, ambiguous, vague, incomplete, unknown) data. For example, the population or sample size might not be exactly determinate because of some individuals that partially belong to the population or sample, and partially they do not belong, or individuals whose appurtenance is completely unknown. Also, there are population or sample individuals whose data could be indeterminate. In this book, we develop the 1995 notion of neutrosophic statistics. We present various practical examples. It is possible to define the neutrosophic statistics in many ways, because there are various types of indeterminacies, depending on the problem to solve.

It highlights the process of neutrosofication {which means to split the universe into three parts, two opposite ones (Truth and Falsehood), and an Indeterminate or neutral one (I) in between them}. It explains Three-Ways Decision, how the universe set is split into three different distinct areas, in regard to the decision process, representing: Acceptance, Noncommitment, and Rejection, respectively. The Three-Way Decision is used in the Neutrosophic Linguistic Rough Set, which has never been done before.

Book Neutrosophic Theories in Communication Management and Information Technology

Download or read book Neutrosophic Theories in Communication Management and Information Technology written by Florentin Smarandache and published by . This book was released on 2020 with total page 379 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Contributing to the fast growing new field of neutrosophy, this book provides a significant collection of unedited articles covering the latest ongoing research area. Neutrosopy is above all a new view on modelling, tailored to effectively address the uncertainties inherent of the real world. In short, Neutrosophy supersedes in logics the binary approach of true or false by introducing a third state: neutral, which can be also interpreted as indeterminate, uncertain, inconsistent .... Development of neutrosophy since its conception by Smarandache in 1988 exponentially grows by conceptual extensions of logics, measure, sets, graphs, as well as practical applications in namely all fields. It can be think as generalization of fuzzy logic and its variants like intuitionistic fuzzy logic.Registered in wide collection of books on this promising field, here we deliver to researchers, lecturers and postgraduate students pursuing research on neutrosophic a set of eighteen unreleased articles on state of the art theoretical developments, applications and understanding of neutrosophy. This volume complements the reference works of the founder and extend the already numerous books of this editor on the subject. This book starts by describing a major application of neutrosophy: product acceptance determination using a similarity measure index by applying neutrosophic statistics. In one the latest leading mathematics branch: Graph theory, we provide an article on neutrosophic extension of graphs that we can call a neutrosophic graph. A reflection is given on the true nature of neutrosophy by exploring its link with learning such as by Artificial Neural Networks, including Deep Learning. Again, in Mathematics a discussion is made on the solving of systems of linear equations in neutrosophic representation. We also go to the opposite of theory, down to the practical details of implementation for topology using the C# language. Neutrosophic probability is another big new research field. Here, we present a study on the advantages of using neutrosophic variables.Other discipline such as algebra, topology, decision making as well as problem as in logistics and transport are concerned by the remaining articles. Last but not least, we would like to finally mention a major paper to conclude this short presentation of our book titled «When Neutrosophic Theory Meets Three-Way Decisions».

Book Neutrosophic Graph Theory and Algorithms

Download or read book Neutrosophic Graph Theory and Algorithms written by Smarandache, Florentin and published by IGI Global. This book was released on 2019-10-25 with total page 406 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Graph theory is a specific concept that has numerous applications throughout many industries. Despite the advancement of this technique, graph theory can still yield ambiguous and imprecise results. In order to cut down on these indeterminate factors, neutrosophic logic has emerged as an applicable solution that is gaining significant attention in solving many real-life decision-making problems that involve uncertainty, impreciseness, vagueness, incompleteness, inconsistency, and indeterminacy. However, empirical research on this specific graph set is lacking. Neutrosophic Graph Theory and Algorithms is a collection of innovative research on the methods and applications of neutrosophic sets and logic within various fields including systems analysis, economics, and transportation. While highlighting topics including linear programming, decision-making methods, and homomorphism, this book is ideally designed for programmers, researchers, data scientists, mathematicians, designers, educators, researchers, academicians, and students seeking current research on the various methods and applications of graph theory.

Book A Study of Regular and Irregular Neutrosophic Graphs with Real Life Applications

Download or read book A Study of Regular and Irregular Neutrosophic Graphs with Real Life Applications written by Liangsong Huang and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 20 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Fuzzy graph theory is a useful and well-known tool to model and solve many real-life optimization problems. Since real-life problems are often uncertain due to inconsistent and indeterminate information, it is very hard for an expert to model those problems using a fuzzy graph. A neutrosophic graph can deal with the uncertainty associated with the inconsistent and indeterminate information of any real-world problem, where fuzzy graphs may fail to reveal satisfactory results.

Book Fuzzy Cognitive Maps and Neutrosophic Cognitive Maps

Download or read book Fuzzy Cognitive Maps and Neutrosophic Cognitive Maps written by W. B. Vasantha Kandasamy and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on 2003-01-01 with total page 213 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In a world of chaotic alignments, traditional logic with its strict boundaries of truth and falsity has not imbued itself with the capability of reflecting the reality. Despite various attempts to reorient logic, there has remained an essential need for an alternative system that could infuse into itself a representation of the real world. Out of this need arose the system of Neutrosophy (the philosophy of neutralities, introduced by FLORENTIN SMARANDACHE), and its connected logic Neutrosophic Logic, which is a further generalization of the theory of Fuzzy Logic. In this book we study the concepts of Fuzzy Cognitive Maps (FCMs) and their Neutrosophic analogue, the Neutrosophic Cognitive Maps (NCMs). Fuzzy Cognitive Maps are fuzzy structures that strongly resemble neural networks, and they have powerful and far-reaching consequences as a mathematical tool for modeling complex systems. Neutrosophic Cognitive Maps are generalizations of FCMs, and their unique feature is the ability to handle indeterminacy in relations between two concepts thereby bringing greater sensitivity into the results. Some of the varied applications of FCMs and NCMs which has been explained by us, in this book, include: modeling of supervisory systems; design of hybrid models for complex systems; mobile robots and in intimate technology such as office plants; analysis of business performance assessment; formalism debate and legal rules; creating metabolic and regulatory network models; traffic and transportation problems; medical diagnostics; simulation of strategic planning process in intelligent systems; specific language impairment; web-mining inference application; child labor problem; industrial relations: between employer and employee, maximizing production and profit; decision support in intelligent intrusion detection system; hyper-knowledge representation in strategy formation; female infanticide; depression in terminally ill patients and finally, in the theory of community mobilization and women empowerment relative to the AIDS epidemic.

Book Neutrosophic Entropy Measures For The Normal Distribution Theory And Applications

Download or read book Neutrosophic Entropy Measures For The Normal Distribution Theory And Applications written by Rehan Ahmad Khan Sherwani and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 16 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Entropy is a measure of uncertainty and often used in information theory to determine the precise testimonials about unclear situations. Different entropy measures available in the literature are based on the exact form of the observations and lacks in dealing with the interval-valued data. The interval-valued data often arises from the situations having ambiguity, imprecise, unclear, indefinite, or vague states of the experiment and is called neutrosophic data. In this research modified forms of different entropy measures for normal probability distribution have been proposed by considering the neutrosophic form data. The performance of the proposed neutrosophic entropies for normal distribution has been assessed via a simulation study. Moreover, the proposed measures are also applied to two real data sets for their wide applicability.
