Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What shall wash away my sins? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. What shall make me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. How precious is that flow that makes me white as snow. No other fount I know nothing but the blood of Jesus, and for this reason, I can say it is well with my soul. My sins are washed away and now I'm clean. This book is written with the intention that all who read it will draw closer to God. I am not ashamed of the Gospel for it is the power of salvation. It is my utmost desire that people will see Jesus one day face to face. I am deeply overwhelmed that the Lord has chosen me to be a mouthpiece to him. Psalms 32:8, he will teach us the way that we shall go, he will instruct you and guide you. All you need is to trust him. He is a spirit, and those that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only son that whosoever believe him shall not perish but shall have everlasting life." Romans 9:33, "But as many has received him to them he gave power to become sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." What a wonderful promise! And his amazing love for humanity. Why don't you just thank him right now for what he has done already on the cross and what he has for you for tomorrow. One simple method is to invite him in your heart and ask him to come in, tell him you are sorry for your sins, please forgive me. He's patiently waiting for your call. It is such a privilege to know the Lord and to encourage others to draw close to him

Book excerpt: At the beginning of World War ll ,the British Government decided to evacuate the children from the cities to safer places in the countryside, and also overseas to other countries. Really where could be safer in the country? The logic behind the plan was that IF, Hitler succeeded in occupying Great Britain, the children could return someday and take their country back. This is the story of my brother, age 4,and myself age 9,who were evacuated September 9th. 1939, to America. My brother's mother, who was my step-mother, accompanied us to elderly relatives that lived in New York State. Then for reasons known only to herself, at that time, she decided to travel back across the U-boat infested waters of the Atlantic to England. Different homes were found eventually for us which was a miracle, as there were at least 2,664, Children's Oversees Reception Board (CORB) children to find homes for. The Kodak Company's families in New York opened their homes to these British evacuees, primarily for the children of the Kodak Company in Great Britian, however they ended up taking a lot of the other children. As we had been sent privately on the S.S.Scythia, we were not included in that number. We also were returned May 8th 1944, one month before D-Day, on a Neutral Portuguese ship to Lisbon. The war did not end until May 8th 1945 so we were back in England in time for the newest German weapon the Vengence Weapon l, or Doodle bug, or Buzz-bomb. This is our War Time story of our adventures, mostly mine, told 73 years later with the memories, some good and some bad, as you will see when you read the book. Thank you for your interest. It is still facinating to me today.

Book excerpt: "Take him home, and enjoy the time that you have left," the doctors said. Fourteen-year old Christopher was losing his battle with leukemia. "Christopher's Journey" is the story of a remarkable young man's four years of cancer treatments, and the many lives that he touched along the way. "Christopher's Journey" chronicles Chris's chemotherapy treatments, his irrepressible antics, and finally, his insightful acceptance of his own mortality. In many ways the book is like a pediatric version of "Tuesdays With Morrie" by Mitch Albom because it also alternates between journal entries, reflection, and narrative. Walk in the shoes of the Ditmars family as they face a childhood devastated by terminal cancer. Share Chris's unique character and unflappable humor, such as the time he glued a quarter to the floor in his hospital room and kept a tally of the ill-fated attempts to retrieve it, or when he found out he was terminal, and he asked his favorite nurse to hurry up and marry him before it was too late. Follow "Christopher's Journey as it winds its way through the tears and the laughter to a place of peace and hope.

Now a Netflix film starring Jeremy Irons. With this electrifying novel about treason and conscience, loyalty and betrayal, "Harris has brought history to life with exceptional skill" (The Washington Post). Hugh Legat is a rising star of the British diplomatic service, serving at 10 Downing Street as a private secretary to the Prime Minister, Neville Chamberlain. Paul von Hartmann is on the staff of the German Foreign Office--and secretly a member of the anti-Hitler resistance. The two men were friends at Oxford in the 1920s, but have not been in contact since. Now, when Hugh flies with Chamberlain from London to Munich, and Hartmann travels on Hitler's train overnight from Berlin, their paths are set on a disastrous collision course. And once again, Robert Harris gives us actual events of historical importance--here are Hitler, Chamberlain, Mussolini, Daladier--at the heart of an electrifying, unputdownable novel.

In The River Where Blood Is Born, the seen and unseen worlds are seamlessly joined--the spirit realms where the great river goddess and ancestor mothers watch over the lives of their descendants, both the living and those not yet born. Stringing beads of destiny, they work to lead one daughter back to her source. But what must Alma sacrifice to honor the River Mother's call?
