She had submitted a game proposal ahead and with that he felt he could get back at her. She begged for a chance when she realizes who he was but he thought of something else. He decided to hold an impromptu meeting where she would pitch her idea to him and his stakeholders. He thought the sudden change would make her mess up but she does well and her idea was green lit. Thinking she was forgiven; she began to feel different about him. Same went for him although he felt that way because she amazed him by her performance. After that he took out the team for a celebration and in it, they were left alone at some point. With the scene set and some wine they had a one-night stand which served as a catalyst for their relationship. While that was the case, their story didn't promise a smooth sailing for relationship within the organization was highly prohibited.
