Download or read book Morbid Letters written by Dr . Roshan Chirag and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2018-07-27 with total page 364 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is a compilation of letters spread over a long period and unsent for obvious reasons. The purpose of publication is to thank God first and then to convey the hidden meaning behind the contents for its own use to improvise the society, community, readers, law abiders, and the patriots. Each letter speaks a story in itself. If elaborated, each letter may turn into a book in totality. Each letter can transform itself into an epic saga of sequence of events, which can fill the shelves of a library. It is better to leave them as they are. Some letters may appear similar and rather familiar because they are addressed to the same class, same genre, and same type of abusers, molesters, assholes, shitheads, and scumbags. The letter addressed to God is a personal retribution to personal relationships authors entertain and enjoy, and God will forgive them if he thinks it is required. Detailed elaboration can only bring peace into pieces. The in thing is for 100 percent tolerance to stupidity and not 0 percent intolerance. It also comprises of the abuse for use and not use or abuse. This book teaches one to remain contented with what is destined.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Although Dylan Thomas is the one of the most well-known poets of the twentieth century, much of his poetry is considered obscure and difficult, and readers and critics tend to concentrate on those poems that can be most easily understood. Not since the early sixties has there been an attempt to explicate the full corpus of Dylan Thomas's Collected Poems. In Where Have the Old Words Got Me? Ralph Maud tackles Thomas's entire work, giving special attention to more difficult and obscure poems. He makes valuable use of Thomas's letters as edited by Paul Ferris in his authoritative Collected Letters volume, bringing the whole man and his work into view.

Book excerpt: Robert Hartwell Fiske aims to eliminate laxity in language today by way of this witty and engaging reference. Fiske rails against "laxicographers and ding-a-linguists" who, with their misguided thinking, actually promote the dissolution of the English language. He also illustrates why dictionaries don't always provide the correct meaning or usage of a word. With concise instruction and numerous examples of misused words, Fiske makes it easier than ever to learn from others' mistakes. This comprehensive dictionary of common misusages lays bare the mistakes we all make every day. Robert Hartwell Fiske, the grumbling grammarian of our time, shows you the definitive right way and wrong way to use language--and illustrates why dictionaries don't always provide the correct meaning or usage of a word.
