In respect to the first object, it may be said, that the field has already been occupied. In reply, we say that, although the works which have appeared from time to time, and especially the large volumes of Colton, have given us nearly all the information which we can hope to obtain, whether in regard to the public or private life of Henry Clay, yet that they all, and especially those which we have designated, labor under the disadvantage of being too large and too costly for popular circulation. J., in 1833, which was the only one in the procession admitted nto the Cemetery grounds, was ornamented with white funereal plumes and wreaths of evergreens and flowers. It was occupied by Aaron Dupuy, an old negro servant of Mr. Clay, who had been in his service for many years. In the back seat was a bust of Mr. Clay, and the engraving of his leave-taking of the Senate. Long before the procession arrived at the Cemetery, 3 large concourse had assembled and were in waiting, occupying every eligible point to witness the interesting ceremonies.
