Book Mommy Tell Me About God

Download or read book Mommy Tell Me About God written by Sharanika Curlee and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2019-08-23 with total page 52 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I feel it is my responsibility to provide an avenue for young children to learn about God and his promises. Raising a child in this world can be scary and difficult; therefore, I am dedicated to using the gifts I have been blessed with to influence the lives of children and their parents. My son has been my biggest source of inspiration. He has inspired me to pursue my lifelong dream of becoming a professional author. I have now completed my first Christian children’s book. The main character of this book, Mommy, Tell Me about God, is also my biggest inspiration—my son, Ian. While our life experiences shape our outlook on life, they also guide the way we pursue our future interests. My name is Sharanika Curlee I was born and raised in a small town called Corinth MS. Getting to know God for myself, I quickly realized the importance of giving back. I have been blessed to work in a variety of settings and had the opportunity to encounter many people, whom I have been blessed to spread the word of God. I have worked as a optician for 14 years, certified financial loan officer for 3 years, licensed cosmetologist for 12 years and jewelry designer 10 years. While wearing many hats throughout my career I have been blessed to cross paths with many people to whom I was able to grace with God’s word. I have always had a desire to make a greater impact. As a single parent to a five-year-old son, I understand the importance of rearing him in a manner that provides him with the foundation to become a happy, healthy, young man with a heart for not only serving God, but also to be a vessel of hope and help to others. In today’s society, there are always opportunities to do wrong and become engulfed in a way of life that produces unfavorable results. Teach them early and if they stray they have the knowledge that was instilled in them at a young age to find their way back to God.

Sometimes you're cursed with too much knowledge, unsure of how to relay your story to those who don't know what you know. Other times, you don't believe your story is worth sharing. Here's the truth: there is untapped equity in your story. In his new book Mommy Lied to God, Carlos Maestas wants to help you unlock that equity. You'll learn the characteristics of authentic storytelling and how to apply them so your stories build trust with your audience. If you're struggling with what to say, Carlos will show you how to simplify your message and clearly communicate the value you can offer people. As he shares lessons from his own experiences and those of others, you'll be inspired to live a better story and connect to something bigger than yourself.
