Rodriguez surge con la necesidad de evaluar productos de informacion digital. Proporciona datos, procedimientos para que los expertos que ejecuten dicha evaluacion realicen esta con mayor pertinencia. Durante su aplicacion, se evidenciaron algunos problemas referidos fundamentalmente al trabajo colaborativo de los integrantes del proyecto y la identificacion y uso de los indicadores para la evaluacion. Por tal razon surge la necesidad de crear un sistema que automatice los principales procesos que propone la Metodologia CUGIO. El sistema CUGIOEval, permite a un equipo de expertos, realizar la evaluacion de un producto de informacion digital, teniendo en cuenta, las fases, tareas y pasos mas importantes que establece la metodologia CUGIO. En la propuesta de solucion se realiza un estudio de parametros e indicadores para evaluar productos de informacion. Se valida la solucion mediante pruebas al software asi como criterio de expertos. El Sistema CUGIOEval elaborado por Mailin Carballosa Infante en cooperacion con Yordankis Matos ambos de UCI-Habana."

Para llegar a identificar la información, se ha seguido una técnica basada en grupos focales y análisis cualitativos de la información. El resultado es un listado de las posibles preguntas de evaluación que podrían interesar a los colectivos implicados, que indican líneas acerca de cómo mejorar estas evaluaciones, enfatizando la utilidad de la información dirigida a cada colectivo y la necesidad de integrar adecuadamente la información del contexto educativo.
