Book excerpt: Heaven's Manuel will assist all readers in their daily walk to live righteous. This book was not written to persuade, preach, convince or lecture. This was done a thousand years ago in scripture. This time around, truth and abundance of life is simply for one to believe. {John 3:15} Many people may look for signs and wonders to prove this theory, but that would be injustice to your own mind. The knowledge of knowing will only be achieved by the mind's ability to believe. This makes the path to Heaven gate a narrow prudent walk. (Luke 13:24) The will of God is for every reader to utilize this knowledge to succeed the abundant life and prosper. (Joshua 1:8) Therefore, truth is the main ingredient to start a new way of life more abundantly without sin. {John .10:10} Behold these words as a daily guide to relieve the mind of any doubt, fear, or misunderstanding. The method which guides the soul to all harmony, love, and righteousness is locked in the minds power to believe. Belief is all it takes. Now it is time to let truth uplift the sprit within. Let this mind be in you which is also in Christ Gesus. (Philippians 2:5) Here on earth is where dreams are born and when it comes to blessings God is never-ever out of business. Ye are gods & Ye shall be saved (Acts 2:21)Gesus Isreal Author The American Hebrew GE -Gesus Elohem: The father & Son are One... GE is US... Kieran Beville's daily devotional combines down-to-earth, unstuffy humanity in today's world with a biblical and God-centered approach, and draws on rich theology in a thoroughly accessible way. He addresses not just the intellect and the will, but gets to the heart, our motivational center, through the mind. If your Christian life could benefit from a short, well-written daily blast of Christ's comfort and challenge, get this book and use it! These short Bible-based meditations are fresh and contemporary. Beville gives to the twenty-first-century reader what earlier authors have given to theirs. Here is practical wisdom that is a helpful guide to stimulate worship and set you thinking as you begin each day with God. For each day of the year, the author has provided the reader with (1) a biblical thought, (2) a daily text, (3) a substantive paragraph, as well as (4) a daily schedule for Bible reading. All of which can be consumed in but a moment yet be considered and meditated on throughout the day. The paragraph for each daily text gives the reader the meaning of the Scripture as well as how it can be applied in our Christian lives. Beville recommends that the reader takes the necessary time to read and meditate on this spiritual food each day.

Book Reclaiming the Lost Art of Biblical Meditation

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight. — Psalm 19:14 Do you long to deepen your intimacy with the Lord? To find a sense of soul-steadying peace? To develop emotional strength? Then you will need to pause long enough to be still and know He is God. Trusted Pastor Robert Morgan leads us through a journey into biblical meditation, which, he says, is thinking Scripture—not just reading Scripture or studying Scripture or even thinking about Scripture—but thinking Scripture, contemplating, visualizing, and personifying the precious truths God has given us. The practice is as easy and portable as your brain, as available as your imagination, as near as your Bible, and the benefits are immediate. As you ponder, picture, and personalize God’s Word, you begin looking at life through His lens, viewing the world from His perspective. And as your thoughts become happier and holier and brighter, so do you.

Book excerpt: Richard Baxter wrote "The Saints' Everlasting Rest" to help prepare him for death during a life-threatening illness. It has inspired Christians for centuries to lift their eyes above this world to the place where they will spend eternity. Born in 1615, Richard Baxter lived and ministered throughout most of the seventeenth century. After being forced from his pulpit with some two thousand other Puritan ministers in the Great Ejection of 1660, he continued his writing ministry, authoring more than 140 books. Originally published in 1649, this work was forty-six chapters long, covering 844 pages. It was abridged in 1758, condensing it to sixteen chapters. Reading Baxter's book will challenge you to rediscover the wonders of the Lord through reflection and meditation. Taking captive our thoughts and making them obedient to Christ will make us strong in the faith and bring victory to our spiritual walks.--

Book Glimpses of Heaven

    Book Details:
  • Author : Maria Sandberg
  • Publisher :
  • Release : 2015-01-07
  • ISBN : 9781506104584
  • Pages : 98 pages

Download or read book Glimpses of Heaven written by Maria Sandberg and published by . This book was released on 2015-01-07 with total page 98 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Revelation 1:3 "Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near!" It has been said that this is the only book in the Bible to the reading of which an especial blessing is promised. Let us, then, while we meditate upon it, expect this special blessing from a faithful, promise-keeping God. Let us expect that these glimpses of Heaven will render us more heavenly in our affections and desires -- more heavenly in our lives and thoughts. What is it we are about to meditate upon, and what glimpse is about to be displayed to our mind's eye? It is to read and hear of Heaven that we are invited. It is to see by faith the glories of the new Jerusalem, through reading and hearing the words of this prophecy, that we are encouraged. And can we do so without deriving benefit? Surely not. The natural effect of looking at things which are unseen and eternal, must be to cast a shadow over things that are seen and temporal. What comparison can that which is to last but for a short time, have with that which is to last forever! But, more than this, if the thing set before us is beautiful in itself, valuable to us, worthy of our choice, and to be our own, and our own forever -- must it not be most worthy of our regard and attention now? Must it not lead to a depreciation of everything else in comparison with it? This is the subject on which we are encouraged to meditate. It is a subject in which we have a deep personal interest. Inheritors of the kingdom of Heaven! Shall we not read with eagerness the description of our inheritance? Shall we not rejoice in our privilege and prospects, and look with longing eyes and glowing hearts towards the opening light which gives us, in the blessed book of the Revelation, even a glimpse of our glorious destiny -- our own, our purchased possession? Bought with the blood of Christ, what though we possess not lands and dwelling-places on earth -- shall we complain while we know that we have "a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens!"
