Physical training, supplemented by feeding, and, if necessary, by free food, is therefore a necessity, but it can not be undertaken without a preliminary medical examina tion, because the exercise that is sufficient to develop one child might be too little for another, and far too great for a third, so great indeed as to bring about irreparable mischief instead of benefit.
