Generally, the first 2 problems are usually the most accessible, although this is not always the case. To be able to face these problems successfully, no more knowledge is required than that covered in the school curriculum; however, many of these problems require an ingenious approach to be tackled successfully. Only in very particular cases, some problems will require some special knowledge to be solved. Once an answer is obtained, it can be checked against the answers provided at the end of the book.
