Los textos originales datan de la década de 1990 y son obra de Luis Eduardo Bresciani Prieto, Sebastián Gray y Dino Bozzi; las subsecuentes revisiones y contribuciones son obra de Francisco Vergara Dávila, Sebastián Gray y Camilo Meneses. Es motivo de alegría para los autores lograr la edición formal de este manual después de tantos años de existencia clandestina, y por ello estamos seguros de que resultará interesante y útil tanto para estudiantes y profesores de arquitectura en todo Chile, como para todos aquellos involucrados en el arte del bien proyectar y del bien construir."
