Book HIGH LEVEL MEN ONLY Wisdom For The Men Looking To Reach The Highest Degrees Of Manhood

Download or read book HIGH LEVEL MEN ONLY Wisdom For The Men Looking To Reach The Highest Degrees Of Manhood written by The Minister Of Manhood and published by The Door 2 Success Publishing . This book was released on 2023-03-15 with total page 299 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “Masculinity Is Not Something Given To You, But Something You Gain. And You Gain It By Winning Small Battles With Honor.” - Norman Mailer Today, a man's largest problem is frequently more significant than his struggle with himself and his daily worries. The largest struggle a man has in a culture that doesn't value manhood is the bitterness he feels for not being recognized and rewarded for all he does to support his wife, his family, and society as a whole. In today's society, males are taught that they must make self-sacrificing decisions and serve as the primary breadwinners for their wives and children. And that a man's happiness comes in second to that of his wife. How frequently do we hear someone say, "A happy wife, a happy life"? This is the wrong way to think; society needs strong men. In order for society to function effectively, it needs strong men who value and appreciate their responsibilities as family protectors and breadwinners. Because there is little value placed on making sure that a man is also taken care of when his only function in society is that of the giver, he ends up feeling empty and despondent. Men commit suicide three to four times more frequently than women do as a result of the disparity in importance between men and women. This problem is made worse by the fact that no one is concerned enough to make it national news. Because men are never recognized by society as essential or useful for anything other than what they can do for others, they are becoming exhausted, inadequate, and energetically deficient. Nonetheless, this implies that it is up to you as a man to realize your worth rather than depending on the outside world. And changing your perspective to one of prioritizing yourself, your objectives, and your desires over those of other people is the first step towards doing that. Don't let others make you feel bad for taking care of your own needs and spirit. You will be able to develop yourself into the most manly version of masculinity possible with the help of this knowledge and wisdom, which is uncommonly available in one location. You will also acquire the attitude necessary to become a true leader of yourself first, followed by your family. So let's travel together so that you can start to receive the respect you deserve. Everything begins with your thinking! Your body will take care of the rest once you train your mind with the proper wisdom. Book Man Enough

Download or read book Man Enough written by Justin Baldoni and published by HarperCollins. This book was released on 2021-04-27 with total page 368 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A GRIPPING, FEARLESS EXPLORATION OF MASCULINITY The effects of traditionally defined masculinity have become one of the most prevalent social issues of our time. In this engaging and provocative new book, beloved actor, director, and social activist Justin Baldoni reflects on his own struggles with masculinity. With insight and honesty, he explores a range of difficult, sometimes uncomfortable topics including strength and vulnerability, relationships and marriage, body image, sex and sexuality, racial justice, gender equality, and fatherhood. Writing from experience, Justin invites us to move beyond the scripts we’ve learned since childhood and the roles we are expected to play. He challenges men to be brave enough to be vulnerable, to be strong enough to be sensitive, to be confident enough to listen. Encouraging men to dig deep within themselves, Justin helps us reimagine what it means to be man enough and in the process what it means to be human.

Book Breaking Out of the Man Box

Download or read book Breaking Out of the Man Box written by Tony Porter and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2016-01-26 with total page 176 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: An international TED Talk speaker, Tony Porter challenges manhood and male socialization, which he defines as the “man box.” Tony Porter works closely with the NFL, the NBA, the MLB, the US military, colleges, universities, and numerous other organizations to prevent violence against women and girls by promoting healthy, respectful manhood. Now, in Breaking Out of the “Man Box” Porter’s message is directed at all men. This book tackles the collective socialization of manhood and provides an in-depth look at the experiences of boys and men. In an effort to understand the many aspects of “what it means to be a man,” Porter suggests the topic is worthy of being rethought, challenged, and even redefined. This book will help men—fathers, husbands, brothers, coworkers, etc.—unpack and correct those realities. Breaking Out of the “Man Box” boldly exposes the connection between male socialization and the quest to end violence against women and girls. Porter provides an honest and transformative experience, empowering men to create a world where men and boys are loving and respectful—and a human race where women and girls are valued and safe. On the heels of national movements and initiatives such as the NFL’s NoMore.org, this book provides men with the knowledge and understanding to explore how to create that world.

  • Author : David M. Friedman

Download or read book A Mind of Its Own written by David M. Friedman and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2008-09-04 with total page 376 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Whether enemy or ally, demon or god, the source of satisfaction or the root of all earthly troubles, the penis has forced humanity to wrestle with its enduring mysteries. Here, in an enlightening and entertaining cultural study, is a book that gives context to the central role of the penis in Western civilization. A man can hold his manhood in his hand, but who is really gripping whom? Is the penis the best in man -- or the beast? How is man supposed to use it? And when does that use become abuse? Of all the bodily organs, only the penis forces man to confront such contradictions: something insistent yet reluctant, a tool that creates but also destroys, a part of the body that often seems apart from the body. This is the conundrum that makes the penis both hero and villain in a drama that shapes every man -- and mankind along with it. In A Mind of Its Own, David M. Friedman shows that the penis is more than a body part. It is an idea, a conceptual but flesh-and-blood measuring stick of man's place in the world. That men have a penis is a scientific fact; how they think about it, feel about it, and use it is not. It is possible to identify the key moments in Western history when a new idea of the penis addressed the larger mystery of man's relationship with it and changed forever the way that organ was conceived of and put to use. A Mind of Its Own brilliantly distills this complex and largely unexamined story. Deified by the pagan cultures of the ancient world and demonized by the early Roman church, the organ was later secularized by pioneering anatomists such as Leonardo da Vinci. After being measured "scientifically" in an effort to subjugate some races while elevating others, the organ was psychoanalyzed by Sigmund Freud. As a result, the penis assumed a paradigmatic role in psychology -- whether the patient was equipped with the organ or envied those who were. Now, after being politicized by feminism and exploited in countless ways by pop culture, the penis has been medicalized. As no one has before him, Friedman shows how the arrival of erection industry products such as Viagra is more than a health or business story. It is the latest -- and perhaps final -- chapter in one of the longest sagas in human history: the story of man's relationship with his penis. A Mind of Its Own charts the vicissitudes of that relationship through its often amusing, occasionally alarming, and never boring course. With intellectual rigor and a healthy dose of wry humor, David M. Friedman serves up one of the most thought-provoking, significant, and readable cultural works in years.
