Book excerpt: A vocal score of Brahms's wonderful first collection of Liebeslieder Waltzes, Op.52, arranged for SAB choirs, in a completely new English translation that is satisfying to sing, whilst following the meaning and rhyme structure of the original German poems as closely as possible. To help rehearsals the score has been presented with a solo piano reduction of the piano duet parts. There is also a version available for SATB ensembles. The reduction in parts has been done in such a way that most singers will have little difficulty in switching between the versions. For clarity, the German text is not included.
