Cette dynamique de l’extraversion est porteuse d’incertitudes auxquelles l’historicité faiblement enracinée propre à l’Etat postcolonial confère un impact accru : le relâchement des contraintes de l’ordre mondial bipolaire stimule une montée de revendications identitaires, ethno-régionales ou religieuses qui contestent l’autoritarisme des régimes en place mais aussi les catégories de référence inhérentes au concept d’Etat-nation.
