Aucune corrélation n'a pu être établie entre les données cliniques et moléculaires. Des études complémentaires sur le rôle de l'hypothalamus et l'identification des gènes candidats localisés sur la région chromosomique responsable du syndrome de Prader-Willi permettraient de comprendre la physiopathologie de ce syndrome.
