Les prescriptions fluorées ont évolué au cours des dernières années. L'action systémique privilégiée dans les années 1990 est actuellement défavorisée par rapport à l'action topique. De nombreuses recommandations nationales et internationales ont été publiées. Elles sont parfois contradictoires et troublent les prescripteurs. Dans le cadre de cette thèse, une enquête a été réalisée avec un questionnaire spécifique adressé aux chirurgiens-dentistes ainsi qu'aux pédiatres afin de d'identifier les connaissances des prescripteurs en terme de recommandations, de comprendre les motivations de ces prescriptions ou de cette absence de prescription et de déterminer leurs besoins.
