La scelta delle modalità di attuazione è infatti un elemento coessenziale alla definizione degli obiettivi e dei contenuti di una determinata strategia.Una tappa del percorso riguarda le fasi di formalizzazione del processo strategico e più precisamente la formulazione e la valutazione (ex ante e ex post) della strategia; momenti di un processo decisionale che devono essere improntati al rispetto del requisito di creazione di valore.
