Download or read book La responsabilidad civil extracontractual written by José Javier López Jacoiste and published by Editorial Centro de Estudios Ramon Areces SA. This book was released on 2018-09-17 with total page 721 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book Responsibility and Fault written by Tony Honoré and published by Hart Publishing. This book was released on 1999-05-19 with total page 172 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Honore (formerly civil law, Oxford U.) develops themes implicit in his and Herbert Hart's 1985 Causation in the Law. In seven essays, he proposes a theory of outcome responsibility that finds intervening in the world to be sufficient to make someone responsible. To act and be responsible is to take risks, he says, so that responsibility can be a matter of luck rather than fault or merit. US distribution is by ISBS. Download or read book Qu es la responsabilidad civil Fundamentos de la disciplina de los hechos il citos y del incumplimiento contractual written by Giovanna Visintini and published by U. Externado de Colombia. This book was released on 2015-08-12 with total page 34 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book God Owes Us Nothing written by Leszek Kolakowski and published by University of Chicago Press. This book was released on 2012-11-09 with total page 250 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: God Owes Us Nothing reflects on the centuries-long debate in Christianity: how do we reconcile the existence of evil in the world with the goodness of an omnipotent God, and how does God's omnipotence relate to people's responsibility for their own salvation or damnation. Leszek Kolakowski approaches this paradox as both an exercise in theology and in revisionist Christian history based on philosophical analysis. Kolakowski's unorthodox interpretation of the history of modern Christianity provokes renewed discussion about the historical, intellectual, and cultural omnipotence of neo-Augustinianism. "Several books a year wrestle with that hoary conundrum, but few so dazzlingly as the Polish philosopher's latest."—Carlin Romano, Washington Post Book World "Kolakowski's fascinating book and its debatable thesis raise intriguing historical and theological questions well worth pursuing."—Stephen J. Duffy, Theological Studies "Kolakowski's elegant meditation is a masterpiece of cultural and religious criticism."—Henry Carrigan, Cleveland Plain Dealer
Download or read book The Art of the Deal written by Reyerson and published by BRILL. This book was released on 2021-10-18 with total page 272 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Medieval commercial transactions did not occur spontaneously. They were crafted by merchants with the support of numerous personnel on the medieval marketplace: notaries, innkeepers, brokers, transporters, and subordinate personnel of the merchant's entourage. This study introduces the reader to the challenges of trade in the Mediterranean world and to specific market conditions in the Mediterranean French town of Montpellier. A case study of the business of the Cabanis merchants permits an in-depth examination of the facilitation of trade by intermediaries whose activities are traced in the discovery phase of arranging a deal and in its closing and execution. Medieval business practice involved multiple layers of personnel. The complexities of medieval trade are revealed in the new emphasis given to those who assisted merchants in their commercial endeavors.
