Download or read book Nueva Contribuci n a la Cr tica de la Educaci n written by Jaime Villegas Pacheco and published by Palibrio. This book was released on 2012-02 with total page 399 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Physical Education Initiatives for Early Childhood Learners

Download or read book Physical Education Initiatives for Early Childhood Learners written by Gil-Madrona, Pedro and published by IGI Global. This book was released on 2021-04-02 with total page 431 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In early childhood education, children find in their own body and movement the main way to get in touch with the reality that surrounds them and, therefore, acquire knowledge about the environment in which they grow and develop. Undoubtedly, the progressive discovery of the body itself as a source of feelings and sensations, as well as exploring the different possibilities of action and bodily functions, constitutes necessary experiences on which children's thinking is built. Furthermore, the affective relationships established in psychomotor education situations, and particularly through play, are essential for the emotional development of children. Physical Education Initiatives for Early Childhood Learners offers globalized educational practices, didactic approaches, and proposals for intervention around motor development in the children ages 0-6 years. The book specifically explores laterality, coordination, relaxation, rhythm, etc. and how these are achieved through games, music, and motor stories. This book is ideal for early childhood educators, physical education teachers, administrators, daycares, preschools, early childhood learning centers, researchers, academicians, and students interested in physical education’s role in early child development.

Download or read book La Acreditaci N de la Educaci N Superior en Iberoam Rica written by V. Ctor Manuel Rosario Mu Oz and published by Palibrio. This book was released on 2012-10 with total page 271 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Creative Collaboration in Teaching

Download or read book Creative Collaboration in Teaching written by Marcelo Giglio and published by Springer. This book was released on 2016-04-29 with total page 211 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Creative Collaboration in Teaching focuses on the question of how best to facilitate creative collaboration among students in the classroom setting—with a focus on music composition and from the perspective of social-cultural psychology. This book is comprehensive, cutting-edge and scholarly in its approach. Marcelo Giglio’s attention to music and creativity is detailed enough to satisfy any researcher, educator or teacher educator; but at the same time, his research approach, classroom observations and overriding recommendations can be easily applied to a wide range of subject areas. Giglio combines a rigorous review of the relevant literatures on creativity and social interactions with the reporting and analysis of his own original data across the world, and then goes on to support this important work with detailed descriptions of classroom episodes—student-to-student and teacher-to-student interactions. By combining these three elements, this book offers socio-creative and pedagogical models for education in practice as well as teacher education and research.

Book Higher Education Reflections From the Field Volume 4

Download or read book Higher Education Reflections From the Field Volume 4 written by and published by BoD – Books on Demand. This book was released on 2023-11-02 with total page 382 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: COVID wrought havoc on the world’s economic systems. Higher education did not escape the ravages brought on by the pandemic as institutions of higher education around the world faced major upheavals in their educational delivery systems. Some institutions were prepared for the required transition to online learning. Most were not. Whether prepared or not, educators rose to the challenge. The innovativeness of educators met the challenges as digital learning replaced the face-to-face environment. In fact, some of the distance models proved so engaging that many students no longer desire a return to the face-to-face model. As with all transitions, some things were lost while others were gained. This book examines practice in the field as institutions struggled to face the worst global pandemic in the last century. The book is organized into four sections on 'Embracing Quality Assurance”, 'Educational Standards and Quality Assurance”, 'Evaluating Educational Access” and 'Why Assessment?”. It presents various perspectives from educators around the world to illustrate the struggles and triumphs of those facing new challenges and implementing new ideas to empower the educational process. These discussions shed light on the impact of the pandemic and the future of higher education post-COVID. Higher education has been forever changed, and higher education as it once was may never return. While many questions arise, the achievements in meeting and overcoming the pandemic illustrate the creativity and innovativeness of educators around the world who inspired future generations of learners to reach new heights of accomplishment even in the face of the pandemic.
