Produit d'une science des religions ouverte et prospective, le présent ouvrage veut collaborer, à l'aide d'approches et de méthodes diverses, à la recherche de valeurs fédératives pour l'Europe de demain. La majorité des contributions réunies ont été présentées lors du troisième cycle en science des religions organisé en 2003 par la Conférence Universitaire de Suisse occidentale (CUSO).
