Book L APOCALYPSE DE J SUS CHRIST Vol 2

Download or read book L APOCALYPSE DE J SUS CHRIST Vol 2 written by Jean-Marc Berthoud and published by . This book was released on 2021-08-12 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book excerpt: Excerpt from The Apocalypse, Vol. 2: A Series of Special Lectures on the Revelation of Jesus Christ; With Revised d104 The publication of the second volume of these Lectures has been delayed quite beyond what was contemplated. From the commencement of the undertaking, it was meant and stated that the Lectures would be written and delivered at different intervals of time, as might be found convenient; but it was not Supposed that the work would linger as it has. The slowness in the matter has been owing in part to the numerous other engage ments of the author preoccupying his attention, and in part to avoid dwelling too constantly upon one theme, which, though intensely important, is not much relished by some modern Christians. Download or read book The Good News of the Apocalypse written by Rev Ione L. Sedinger and published by iUniverse. This book was released on 2011-11 with total page 335 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Christ knew we would never be happy without a personal, viable relationship with him and his Father. He knew the only way for us to truly know him would be to learn his story. This is why Jesus' last commission to his disciples was for them to study the Word in order to teach the Word to others. Through intense study of the New Testament, The Good News of the Apocalypse shows you how to have a meaningful and an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Pastor Sedinger offers a complete overview of the books of the New Testament. She breaks down each book through guided readings and gives a thorough explanation of the book's events and message. In addition, Sedinger incorporates other biblical studies in her narrative to provide a well-rounded understanding of the New Testament. At the heart of this study is the overwhelming importance of accepting Jesus as your personal savior and developing a relationship with him. Knowing about him is not enough to build this relationship. Instead, we must study Scripture and apply it to our lives. The Good News of the Apocalypse will help you in this remarkable journey by complementing your Bible reading and giving you a new understanding of the Gospel.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Apocalypse, translated literally from Greek, is a disclosure of knowledge, hidden from humanity in an era dominated by falsehood and misconception, i.e., a lifting of the veil or revelation, although this sense did not enter English until the 14th century. In religious contexts it is usually a disclosure of something hidden. In the Revelation of John, the last book of the New Testament, the revelation which John receives is that of the ultimate victory of good over evil and the end of the present age, and that is the primary meaning of the term, one that dates to 1175. Today, it is commonly (and erroneously) used in reference to any prophetic End Time scenario or to the end of the world in general. The key to the cryptic message in the book of Revelation is in the Metaphysics of Truth -- THE TRUTH IS ALWAYS TRYING TO REVEAL ITSELF TO US. The Apocalypse Now Series is a new perspective on Revelation's prophecy and reading the first volume is paramount to understanding this new perspective. The Christ Principle Part II, continues to demonstrate Jesus Christ as a man who DISCOVERED the hidden potentials that exist in every human being. Once we understand Jesus Christ as a man who was dedicated to an unknown purpose and destiny, we begin to unlock the secrets to his ministry. Here we find an alternative view concerning his final temptations and the significance of the Power bestowed upon him during his final quest to understand his purpose. Only by understanding his TRUE purpose could he make the CHOICE, which would grant immunity to EVERYONE who lived on earth before and after him. What did he discover? What has modern-day Christianity missed in the interpretation of this important message? Learn why Christ's body COULD NOT have taken part in the resurrection and why this misconception will present itself in the final conflict of humanity. Discover the mysteries of Revelation's prophecy as the secrets continue to unfold in Volume 4 of the Apocalypse Now Series.

Download or read book L APOCALYPSE DE J SUS CHRIST Vol 3 written by Jean-Marc Berthoud and published by . This book was released on 2022-12-16 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book A Testimony of Jesus Christ Volume 2

Download or read book A Testimony of Jesus Christ Volume 2 written by Anthony Charles Garland and published by SpiritAndTruth.org. This book was released on 2007 with total page 594 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A Commentary on the Book of Revelation - Volume 2 The author presents a detailed study of the Book of Revelation emphasizing prophetic themes from the rest of the Bible which find their fulfillment in Revelation. To understand this controversial book, the author explores the many connections between the visions seen by the Apostle John and previous prophetic revelation given to Old Testament prophets such as Daniel, Ezekiel, and others. It is the author's conviction that an understanding of related passages elsewhere in the Bible is the most important key to unlocking the bewildering variety of interpretations which often accompany the study of the last book of the Bible. The commentary can be used in conjunction with a free companion internet course providing an additional 70 hours of audio instruction linked to almost 1,000 slides.

Book The Christ of the Apocalypse Contemplating the Faces of Jesus in the Book of Revelation

Download or read book The Christ of the Apocalypse Contemplating the Faces of Jesus in the Book of Revelation written by Msgr. A. Robert Nusca and published by Emmaus Road Publishing. This book was released on 2018-06-30 with total page 164 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: That the Apocalypse of John is a “Revelation of Jesus Christ” (Rev 1:1) is a fact too often overlooked by interpreters of this last book of the Bible. As Msgr. A. Robert Nusca’s The Christ of the Apocalypse: Contemplating the Faces of Jesus in the Book of Revelation proposes, beyond predictions of earthquakes and falling stars, St. John articulates from start to finish a multifaceted and compelling portrait of Jesus Christ. Nusca offers an exegetical reading of selected verses of the Book of Revelation, incorporating rich spiritual and pastoral reflections. The Christ of the Apocalypse above all affirms that St. John’s God- and Christ-centered, symbolic universe offers our contemporary world a spiritual place to stand amid the shifting sands of postmodernity. As Cardinal Thomas Collins, Archbishop of Toronto, writes in his Foreword, “Now, as in the first century, Christians face martyrdom, and those who are not called to die for Christ are called to live for Christ in a world which in many ways rejects the Gospel. More than ever, we need the apocalyptic vision, to have our own vision of reality clarified, and to be strengthened in our evangelical witness.”

Book excerpt: In this highly accessible discussion, Bart Ehrman examines the most recent textual and archaeological sources for the life of Jesus, along with the history of first-century Palestine, drawing a fascinating portrait of the man and his teachings. Ehrman shows us what historians have long known about the Gospels and the man who stands behind them. Through a careful evaluation of the New Testament (and other surviving sources, including the more recently discovered Gospels of Thomas and Peter), Ehrman proposes that Jesus can be best understood as an apocalyptic prophet--a man convinced that the world would end dramatically within the lifetime of his apostles and that a new kingdom would be created on earth. According to Ehrman, Jesus' belief in a coming apocalypse and his expectation of an utter reversal in the world's social organization not only underscores the radicalism of his teachings but also sheds light on both the appeal of his message to society's outcasts and the threat he posed to Jerusalem's established leadership.

Book L APOCALYPSE de J SUS CHRIST Vol 4

Download or read book L APOCALYPSE de J SUS CHRIST Vol 4 written by Jean-Marc Berthoud and published by . This book was released on 2024-03-02 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.
