Download or read book Daily Inspirations by Rita written by Rita Walker-Radford and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2013-10-23 with total page 202 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Dear Readers, this book came into being by admiring, and being touched by a special friend’s poems and deciding I would try writing some of my own! I was traumatised at the time due to my mother Louise’s physical and mental deterioration. She became seriously ill with pneumonia and was staying in St Helier Hospital, Carshalton, Surrey, U.K. I had to fly over urgently from South Africa where I reside as she wasn’t expected to live. As a qualified Reiki practitioner plus trained Hospice counsellor I did the best I could to ease my Mother’s situation by giving her healing and comforting her. Prayers and God’s help saw an improvement and Louise was transferred to a special care home as she had advanced Senile Dementia and couldn’t walk any more. She was very frail and I was deeply saddened by her condition. I wrote poems to release my feelings and the emotional pain and strain I was under. After visiting her in this home for mentally confused people I felt very devastated that my Mother was no longer the person she used to be. She didn’t even realize she wasn’t at home which actually was a huge blessing! I had previously asked God to help my sister find the best care home for my Mother and I must say I was grateful to the carers there who really looked after her well I realized that as I wrote and helped to heal my wounds these poems could also give comfort and assistance to others in their recovery as we are all confronted with challenges in life. This is the aim of the book, to inspire, encourage, and uplift people through their journey. There are poems to be found within the book on every subject as it came up on my journey into discovery, healing, and enlightenment. Each poem tells a different story regarding my experiences in life and overcoming the obstacles. I have asked God to bless all those who read the book and it is my greatest wish that they draw comfort from the words contained therein as I know they will relate to many of the circumstances described in the poems themselves on some level. My Mother finally died peacefully in her sleep on the morning of 7th May, 2012. A poem written by me in her honour was kindly read out by my niece on my behalf at the funeral, which I couldn’t attend physically due to back problems, but did attend in spirit. I went into a meditation and was able to see certain members of my family present so I felt very blessed and at peace. Out of the ashes of the old may I rise like the phoenix to reach my full potential, encouraging others to do the same. I have more books in the pipeline which need to be published and read and really hope you enjoy this one. Many blessings. Rita

As God molded her in His hands, He purposed her for His works and for His people. From the cradle to the pulpit this Prophetess was destined to bring forth the word of God with the anointing and power. Hearing the call in her tender years, Antoinette began her ministry with a Yes Lord, her am I, and sojourns her call in the path of ministerial greatness. With an ear to hear His voice, and her affections toward heavenly matters, this Prophetess is unmovable and unstoppable on her mission. In her childhood years it was evident Antoinette was a gifted child; peculiar, anointed and called to ministry. As the gift of prophecy manifested through her voice, and prophetic dreams became perceptible through full materialization, the mantel as Gods Prophetess was apparent. Prophetess White is the wife of the powerful Apostle Michael S. White Jr. and mother of six children. These two anointed vessels established Remnant Apostolic Prophetic Outreach (wwwrapoutreach.org).

Download or read book Dream of Night written by Heather Henson and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2010-05-04 with total page 226 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Untamable. Damaged. Angry. Once full of promise and life, now lost in the shadows of resentment and detachment, this is Dream of Night's story—and it is also Shiloh’s. One is a thoroughbred racehorse, the other an eleven-year-old foster child. Starved to the bone, Dream of Night is still a very powerful animal, kicking, bucking, screaming to show his strength. Shiloh has been starved in other ways—starved of affection, starved of stability and she lashes out too…with sarcasm. This injured and abused racehorse has a lot in common with punky Shiloh and by chance they both find themselves under the care of Jessalyn DiLima—a last stop for each before the state takes more drastic measures—sending the girl to a “residential facility” and the horse to a vet...for euthanizing. Jess is giving them a second chance, a last chance—but she fosters animals and children like this for a reason—she’s a little broken, too. And she knows what it’s like to have lost nearly everything she loves. As the horse warms up to the girl and the girl lets her guard down for the horse, the three of them become an unlikely family. They recognize their similarities in order to heal their pasts, but not before one last tragedy threatens to take it all away.
