This story offers hope and encouragement to others to not give up despite their trials and tribulations. The author openly shares her personal experiences associated with the damaging effects of labeling and the stigma associated with receiving a mental health diagnosis, divorce, and the loss of a child. And throughout her story, we are able to feel her struggle to find a closer relationship with God. The more we focus on our accomplishments and successes in life, the less room we will have for self-defeating thoughts.
