The first poem, "How Can I Be Sure", written in 1970 is the only work that survived my memory because all early works were destroyed in an apartment fire in 1975. The second, "Ode To A Friend", was written in 1992 as a tribute to the tragic death of a friend of mine. All the rest were written between 2002 and 2005 and depict moving feelings of love and love lost during the ups and downs of a post divorce relationship. The nature photos were taken at a variety of places like National Parks, State Parks in Pennsylvania and New York, at the shore on the east coast, and on a cross country trip that my son and I took after his graduation in 2002. Most of the photos came from the 19 National Parks that we visited and other outstanding sites along our journey which included a breathtaking drive along U.S. rt.1 down the California coast. Lastly, there are three of my favorite computer creations included, "The Black Hole", "Mirror Balls", and "Blue Serenity", which I designed during the evening hours of that snowbound winter of '95-'96.
