Book It Is Time to Hold God Accountable

Download or read book It Is Time to Hold God Accountable written by David J. Deines and published by iUniverse. This book was released on 2000-06-30 with total page 348 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: It is Time to Hold God Accountable is a controversial scrutiny of biblical stories which determines how God never existed and the tremendous resulting repercussions on humanity. Then why the title? The main source document offered as proof of Gods existence is the Bible. Without knowledge of its contents, how can we realistically determine Gods existence or lack thereof? After reviewing various Bible stories, the accountability leveled against God for his biblically described actions is so powerful, the question of Gods existence becomes valid. Why consider Gods accountability at this time? Entering the new millennium, approximately one-third of Earths population professes to be Christians. After two millenniums of indoctrination by Christianity, is our earthly home a safer place to live? If this is not the time, when will it be? Also, how will humanity deal with global problems with God to guide us? We will review the Bible writers lack of knowledge, archaeology, missing artifacts, biblical chronology, and Jesus Christ and the historical Josephus. We will also examine how the discovery of alien intelligent life will become additional proof of Gods non-existence and the resultant collapse of Christianity. We will be taken on a journey from Adam to aliens with numerous biblical and scientific stops along the way.

Download or read book Do You Want to Be Healed written by Tom Mann and published by Xulon Press. This book was released on 2013-04-01 with total page 190 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: So you've prayed to God that He will take your pain away, but it just seems as if He wants you to carry that cross forever. Have you ever thought that perhaps God really does want to heal you, but you're actually standing in the way? Do You Want to Be Healed? Allowing God to Heal Brokenness in Your Life shares a little-known truth about Jesus' healing ministry-you have to be ready for healing before Jesus will heal you. That means you can't keep one foot in your dysfunction while crying out to God for help. You have to go all in before Jesus can perform that healing miracle in your life. If you're ready for that kind of commitment-ready for Jesus to wipe away your tears and heal the brokenness in your soul-take a chance and say, yes, I want to be healed. Newspaper editor, soldier, political consultant, private investigator, intelligence officer, adjunct professor, business owner, senior executive, Bachelors and Masters Degrees-on paper Tom Mann looks like one of the more successful people you will meet. You would never see the dysfunction that consumed him, caused by too many years of neglect and abuse as a child. For years, he thought everyone else was nuts until the day he realized it was actually him. Crying out to Jesus, Tom found healing, but not in some "shabalee-doo, you're healed" kind of way. No, more like the "Submit yourself fully to Jesus and do things you don't want to do" kind of way. God has used Tom's pain for good, giving Tom the ability to powerfully speak into other's lives about healing. Now he desperately wants you to have the same kind of healing God has given him. Book Accountable to God

Download or read book Accountable to God written by Chandra Hawthorne and published by Createspace Independent Publishing Platform. This book was released on 2017-10-21 with total page 142 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Today some have lost their faith in the church's ability to lead them to Heaven. They live in despair because what was once a lifeline for sinking souls now appears to be a place of big business and self-promoting agendas. It is saddening to witness the condition of human beings in our world. There are crippling illnesses, incurable diseases, and diverse acts of terror. A new tragedy is realized every minute. The world is deteriorating; yet some Christians walk around daily, offering false hope to those who need a savior. While everyone will not accept God, there are those who cry out daily. Let's consider the prostitute who sells her body on the streets. Do you believe every person who is a prostitute wants to live that way? What about the alcoholic? Is it fair to assume he enjoys being a slave to his addiction? Consider cancer patients who cling to every string of hope, placing their faith in treatments that may not deliver. There are many others with incurable diseases looking to God for healing, but they continue to stumble over counterfeit healing ministries that leave them in despair. Not everyone in a hopeless condition is comfortable with remaining there, but will embrace hope, if possible. People want to believe there is a God in Heaven who can deliver them from a personal Hell, but doubt intercepts their faith. It is the duty of every believer to make sure people experience Christ through them. God's message of love, peace, and deliverance is not trusted when delivered via a part-time saint. Christians must be witnesses for Christ, in hopes that others will believe on Him and gain eternal life! God is everything the Bible says He is. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the light. No one can come to God unless he accepts Christ. (St. John 14:6) The Bible reveals that no matter how many won't believe in God's faithfulness, it yet remains effective. (Romans 3:3) This book was written to address the numerous reasons people stray away from churches, and the dangers of doing so. It was also written to bring hope, understanding, and peace to believers and non-believers as well, regarding the Christian faith, and where you stand in your respective views and beliefs. People have misconceptions. They are scared; some are confused; and many don't trust anyone. Whatever the reason, there is virtually no excuse for choosing your own way, this is not the will of God for us, and thereby unacceptable to Him. We will all answer to Him. Salvation is an individual affair, and we must seek God's righteousness daily. The journey of holy living is not impossible or futile. You can do it with God's help. He promised that if we seek after Him we will find Him, and He will welcome us! (Jeremiah 29:13-14). Don't give up your life with God because of a few bad examples. You can live a holy life. You can be a righteous person, and God will keep you until the day He comes back for "His Church," and you will live and rule with Him forever in peace!

Book Conversations with God for Teens

Download or read book Conversations with God for Teens written by Neale Donald Walsch and published by Hampton Roads Publishing. This book was released on 2012-10-01 with total page 250 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Suppose you could ask God any question and get an answer. What would it be? Young people all over the world have been asking those questions. So Neale Donald Walsch, author of the internationally bestselling Conversations with God series had another conversation. Conversations with God for Teens is a simple, clear, straight-to-the-point dialogue that answers teens questions about God, money, sex, love, and more. Conversations with God for Teens reads like a rap session at a church youth group, where teenagers discuss everything they ever wanted to know about life but were too afraid to ask God. Walsch acts as the verbal conduit, showing teenagers how easy it is to converse with the divine. When Claudia, age 16, from Perth, Australia, asks, "Why can't I just have sex with everybody? What's the big deal?", the answer God offers her is: "Nothing you do will ever be okay with everybody. 'Everybody' is a large word. The real question is can you have sex and have it be okay with you?" There's no doubt that the casual question-and-answer format will help make God feel welcoming and accessible to teens. Conversations with God for Teens is the perfect gift purchase for parents, grandparents, and anyone else who wants to provide accessible spiritual content for the teen(s) in their lives.

Book excerpt: When you think about accountability do you do it in terms of how others are accountable or in terms of how you are accountable to not only the people in the world but to God? Accountability means answerability, responsibility, liability and culpability but what do these words mean to you? Thinking about the word you are responsible to somebody for something or your actions or speech are explainable. How often have you gone on your merry way and not remembered that you are accountable or responsible to someone for every thought, word, or action that you take. Spend time each day having a conversation with God about your accountability for this day. What have you done to give Him glory? What have you done that could cause Him pain, disappointment, or regret? Remember every prayer is a conversation. Once you talk you have to be open to listen to what God has to say on the matter.

Book O Lord Do Not Put Me to Shame

Download or read book O Lord Do Not Put Me to Shame written by M. M. Kirschbaum and published by CreateSpace. This book was released on 2014-04-02 with total page 72 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: It is time to say, “O Lord, let me not be put to shame.” It is time to realize that we serve a living God and Jesus is Lord. It is time that we become self-feeders. If you are in God's supermarket for candies your diet will be very unbalanced. It is time to take a good look around for you must not be put to shame. This is the time to know that God is indeed worth serving. When the wicked lay a snare for us, He has promised to send His angels to lift us up. On this promise, we shall hold God accountable for He neither sleeps nor slumbers. Therefore, no iniquity will have dominion over us in the name of Jesus. We shall go out and come back in peace in the name of Jesus. We shall not be in the wrong place in the wrong time in the name of Jesus. Our loved ones shall not spill their blood in the presence of our enemies in the name of Jesus. We must be bold, we must be strong, and we must remain standing in the face of trouble. If we must cry, it will be in secret to our Lord. Then we will claim victory in public. Yes, that is how it should be. Why? Because, we are serving the Most-High-God. There is nothing to fear, nothing to fear, nothing to fear.
