This book will help me grow in my prophetic gifts so that I can discover the plans that God has for me and move forward in my purpose. God has a plan and a future for each of us, but many people don’t know what that plan is, and if they do, they don’t know how to walk in it. Hubie Synn knows the feeling. Step by step, one adventure at a time, Synn has been discovering and growing in the prophetic gift God has given him—a gift that has taken him before celebrities, politicians, and power brokers, and even around the world. In Lessons From a Wandering Prophet, Synn shares the highs and lows he has experienced in ministry to teach principles of prophetic ministry: • How to discern when God is speaking • How to step out to say what God has given you to say • How to grow in the prophetic • What to do when a prophecy is not well-received • How to let go and let God lead you This book will inspire readers to receive with open hands and hearts the prophetic gifts God has given them, discover the plans God has for them, and walk fully in their calling.

So easily forgotten is the process the Monarch endured to achieve its regal beauty. The butterfly goes through four stages of development which is referred to as metamorphosis. We can prophetically compare each of the unique stages to the making of the prophet of God. As the prophet goes through various stages in life, he or she eventually comes out demonstrating the supernatural, and speaking prophetically with signs, wonders, revelation, and humility. Following the accolades of others, the prophet of God struggles to maintain his or her own sanity while going through the death process behind closed doors for purpose. Follow the journey of prophetess Jacqueline Boynes as she takes you into the prophet's life.

Download or read book In the Latter Days written by Thomas Meeker and published by CreateSpace. This book was released on 2013-07-23 with total page 190 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: As I set out to write a book about End Times Prophecy one of the most important rules of interpretation that must be carefully observed is to distinguish between what is actually said in the texts and that which is assumption, exaggeration, speculation or imagination. All too often writers and preachers of prophecy publish their works mainly because they believe they have solved the riddle or completed the picture. But their resulting product ends up being more a description of their own personal opinions, assumptions, speculations and biases than of what the Word of God actually says. That by itself wouldn't be so bad. The problem comes when these assumptions and speculations are not presented as such, but rather are presented and accepted as though they are well established truth. Presenting them this way implies that the conclusions of the author have been proven from the Bible and are sure, when in fact they are not. In hopes of avoiding this kind of error I have carefully tried to distinguish in this study between the facts from the scripture and the assumptions or speculations that may be made from them. The facts from the scripture are unmovable and sure. Any assumptions or speculations must be open for change or outright abandonment if events around us prove them wrong. Now, I understand that "facts" can also be open to interpretation and interpretation can be a very subjective thing. Therefore, an author's method of interpretation is extremely important if he hopes to discover what is true. The method should be as objective as possible and designed to remove the natural tendency to project one's own biases or preconceptions into the interpretation. The goal is to allow the Bible to define what is true and to paint its own prophetic picture of what is to come. The goal is not to use the Bible to support or lend credence to one's own pet doctrines or preconceived beliefs or imaginations. Sadly, the latter approach is more often than not the method that is applied in prophetic studies. In this study I begin with the assumption that I know nothing of the subject at hand. I approach the Bible like a detective looking for clues to solve a mystery. In order to get to the truth, I have to trust that my clues are accurate and that they say what they mean and mean what they say. But like every human being it is hard not to filter what I'm seeing subjectively. So in an attempt to keep my method of interpretation as objective as possible, I developed several ground rules. These ground rules are explained in the book. I believe that the whole Bible is true and all prophecy is accurate. Therefore, it will never contradict itself. If it appears to contradict itself, then there is something we are missing or misunderstanding. If this assumption is valid, and I believe it is, then there is never a reason to isolate a prophetic text from the rest of the writings. They should all agree and form a congruent picture. Basically what I am going to be focusing on is developing a timeline. Using just what the scriptures tell us, without exaggerating, reaching, stretching, spiritualizing, symbolizing, isolating, projecting or looking for hidden meanings, we will discover amazing detail and congruence as to the chronology of events. Once we understand the chronology and the framework, even if we do not fully understand what the events are or exactly how they will look, we will be equipped to recognize the events when they actually begin to happen, and thus will not miss our time of visitation. Our journey begins in the book of Daniel where most of the framework of the timeline is discovered. Then we will move on to the words of Jesus in the gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke. With this knowledge, then, we will work our way through the Book of Revelation and will discover that we are much better equipped to understand how these things flow into the chronology of events In the Latter Days.

Book Joseph Smith III

Download or read book Joseph Smith III written by Roger D. Launius and published by University of Illinois Press. This book was released on 1995 with total page 436 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This interesting, well-researched biography of the founder of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints covers the 54 years of his presidency, a tenure marked by Mormon factionalism that he succeeded in controlling. The son of the founder of Mormonism, Joseph Smith III at first resisted succeeding his father as leader and prophet but, as his biographer underscores, his governance from 1860 until his death in 1914 was fiercely committed to the religious legacy of his parent. Differing in style from the elder Smith's "sometimes disastrous impracticality," his son exemplified rugged individualism with a secular pragmatism that sprang from his legal education. An opponent of polygamy, as proclaimed by Brigham Young, the younger Smith established a viable bureaucracy and a style of leadership that characterizes the Mormon community today, notes the author, a military historian.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The calling to parish ministry involves a journey leading through lowland thickets and high plateau vistas. It's a vocation not for weak spirits. The parish presents general challenges rather than specialist endeavors. So, wearing one hat after another, the pastor may speak from the pulpit, join a team processing a current social concern, visit the intensive care hospital unit, and offer counsel at birth, marriage, or death--maybe all in one day. Clergy and non-ordained alike will find that Parish, the Thought provides a closeup insight into this ministry, telling the truth about the defeats and victories experienced over the course of forty years in the parish. This memoir spends little time in navel gazing. Rather, the author explores the humor, conflicts, ventures, and achievements that rise in his memory. The reader will detect a commitment to priestly and prophetic ministry, one that seeks to comfort the distressed and to nudge the comfortable out of apathy, encompassing the personal and public dimensions of the faith. All this as an adventure following the Pioneer, Jesus, the Christ.
