Elle passe inévitablement par la constitution d’un Etat panafricain. Pour les Hommes, il n’y a pas d’unité sans mémoire du passé. De fait, la construction d’un Etat fédéral passe inévitablement par la restauration de la conscience historique africaine. Il n’y a pas d’identité nationale et fédérale sans une LANGUE COMMUNE. L’unification de l’Afrique ne sera donc possible que si elle prend la mesure de son unification linguistique. Dans une moindre mesure mais à l’instar de Cheikh Anta DIOP dans l’Unité culturelle, j’ai été animé tout au long de cette heuristique par l’idée que seule la connaissance véritable du passé peut entretenir la conscience et le sentiment d’une continuité historique indispensable à la consolidation d’une nation pour un objectif de construction d’un Etat multinational conforme à son passé. Tout comme Cheikh Anta Diop, je bâtis ma certitude sur l’idée légitime qu’un peuple qui a perdu une part importante de sa mémoire historique doit se livrer à l’investigation sur son passé par tous les moyens possibles. Cette investigation peut prendre les contours d’une reconnexion avec son passé à travers des langues dites anciennes. Mais un peuple ne peut pas vivre en se contentant de répéter ce que les autres lui intiment de dire de lui-même. L’investigation à travers son passé linguistique permet surtout une connaissance directe de soi. Outre le fait que cette connaissance mette simplement en évidence ses faiblesses, elle permet de prendre conscience par une démarche introspective et donc réflexive de ses réelles capacités et de ses forces. Elle structure l’Etre et la conscience de l’Etre pour résister à toute forme d’idéologie servile et avilissante. Cette quête du passé, non fondée sur la passion aveugle mais l’objectivité, nourrit une saine ambition pour un réel universalisme. Connaître son passé, c’est déjà se projeter vers son avenir.
