A number of problems have not yet been widely analysed, despite the fact that the present time is undoubtedly a time of technological challenges. The leitmotif of our scientific work was human rights and their relationship with Artificial Intelligence. In presenting the research results in this book, we realise that a number of issues still need to be clarified. Nevertheless, we hope that the work presented for the reader’s consideration will constitute an interesting voice in the discussion, a point of reference for all those dealing with the legal issues of new technologies and the protection of human rights.As the presented book is a collective work, the authors essentially present their own views. The whole work has been designed to address a broad spectrum of issues in Artificial Intelligence and human rights in a single collection. Todas las aportaciones que componen esta obra parten de un axioma que debería estar en el frontispicio de cada norma y de cada avance científico y que es que las personas y sus derechos deben estar en el centro de la transformación digital. Los sistemas de IA deben ser seguros en general, el elenco de posibles derechos que pueden verse afectados son innumerables y pueden ir desde el riesgo para la vida, la integridad física, el derecho a la intimidad, la privacidad, la protección de datos, etc., etc. Desde esa perspectiva cada uno de los autores ha expuesto en los campos de su conocimiento la problemática que se presenta y las posibles soluciones que podrían implementarse. La IA se encuentra en el contexto de nuestra vida diaria y las soluciones que aporta serán imprescindibles para el avance del ser humano, siempre y cuando seamos capaces de identificar claramente beneficios y peligros de la IA.
