Les critères de succès ont évolué intellectuellement, et simultanément aux avancées technologiques que sont les techniques d'imagerie et les protocoles chirurgicaux de plus en plus rigoureux. Les guides radiologiques et chirurgicaux sont les outils permettant le transfert des données : les souhaits du praticien prothésiste sur l'image radiographique et le report sur le site opératoire du positionnement planifié de l'implant. ce travail nous a permis de comparer d'un point de vue général les trois grands procédés de guidage : les guides chirurgicaux traditinnels issus de conception personnelle (réalisés sur modèle d'étude et les guides préfabriqués), les logiciels de simulation et de réalisation de guides chirurgicaux et enfin les systèmes de navigation chirurgicale, par rapport à un cahier des charges idéal afin de respecter un certain nombre d'impératifs généraux. Les gestes médico-chirurgicaux assistés par ordinateur ont leur indications, les techniques classiques ont les leurs. Il convient donc de faire le choix du guide chirurgical en fonction de la situation clinique et des données répertorièes lors de l'examen pré-implantaire.

Psoriasis is a graphical subdiscipline of medicine and therefore this will have copious illustrations. As a fast moving discipline the emphasis must be on annual updates to ensure that readers are kept up to date on the important areas of development.
