Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Evangelist Watson was born to Laurence and Joanne Kennedy on May 27, 1979. She found Christ in the closet of her bedroom at the tender age of seven. With prophetic dreams and visions, Evangelist always knew she was set apart. But with a high calling there is always a high price to pay. From her birth through every opposition you can think of, Evangelist's ministry has become an example of the Lord's manifested power and purpose. Today, Evangelist Watson is a seasoned woman of God full of wisdom and power. She is also a loving wife and mother of four beautiful, talented and anointed children, and she is also the spiritual mother of many more. She is active in many areas of ministry and has the honor of being a major asset to ministries of others as well as her own, giving her the platform to impart her wisdom, knowledge, and anointing into the lives of countless souls. First and foremost, before all ministries, she is a humble servant, willing to put her hands to whatever God has called her to do (including cleaning toilets and mopping). Evangelist was licensed at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church under Pastor Henry L. Bonner. She is also the newly published author of this book, "I Still Hear Footsteps," and Ghetto Byrds, and is the founder of "Heirs to the Promise Book Club." She takes pride in being a positive example and a beacon of light for those who have either lost their way, or are trying to find their way tothe One True and Living God. Evangelist is a true Woman of God who preaches and lives in the realm of righteousness. Her philosophy on ministry which remains so true even in her own Christian walk can be summed up in one of her life quotes: "The one thing I honestly believe is that you can't impact unless you've been impacted, you can't lead unless you've followed, and you can't impart unless you've lived."

Book Footsteps

Download or read book Footsteps written by Richard Holmes and published by Vintage. This book was released on 1996-04-30 with total page 297 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Richard Holmes knew he had become a true biographer the day his bank bounced a check that he had inadvertently dated 1772. Because for the acclaimed chronicler of Shelley and Coleridge, biography is a physical pursuit, an ardent and arduous retracing of footsteps that may have vanished centuries before. In this gripping book, Holmes takes us from France’s Massif Central, where he followed the route taken by Robert Louis Stevenson and a sweet-natured donkey, to Mary Wollstonecraft’s Revolutionary Paris, to the Italian villages where Percy Shelley tried to cast off the strictures of English morality and marriage. Footsteps is a wonderful exploration of the ties between biographers and their subjects, filled with passion and revelations. “Deeply impressive . . . Footsteps is a singular event in the modern history of biography, and in itself a delightful reading experience.”—Alfred Kazin “This exhilarating book, part biography, part autobiography, shows the biographer as sleuth and huntsman, tracking his subjects through space and time.”—The Observer “A modern masterpiece . . . [Holmes is] the most romantic of contemporary biographers and probably the most revolutionary in spirit and form.”—Michael Holroyd, author of Bernard Shaw

Alice Grey thought life was easier when she was still a thief. As a flying squirrel shifter, it had always been as easy as gliding through some rich guy's open window and sailing away before the hounds could get a sniff of her. That was ten years ago, and she's still trying to escape her past, and the memories of the man who told her to run... Alice is reformed now. She doesn't live that life anymore. She hadn't wanted it to begin with. Forced into it to pay her father's debts to some very bad people, she still can't live peacefully because the dog shifters, one in particular, don't know when to quit. They catch up with her in Woodland Creek, hoping to clamp their teeth down on her neck and shake her until she's dead like a real squirrel. Jake Redfield, former undercover cop, fell in love with Alice when he met her on the job. He'd been trying to bring down her bosses at the time, and for the most part, he succeeded, but one man is out of prison, and he wants revenge as much as Jake wants to see her again. Wants to touch her and kiss her. Keep her safe. As a diamondback rattlesnake shifter, his venom can be deadly, and anyone who tries to hurt his Alice is just begging to be bitten...
