If you like John LeCarre, Lee Childs and John Grisham, you will absolutely love this book. It far surpassed my highest expectations. Every time I thought I had it figured out another twist or turn would make me second guess and start to suspect someone else. Had me going to an ending I did not entirely expect. The twists are non-stop and I pretty much never knew who was good or bad until the end, which is a surprise. An unbelievably good book! It is fast moving with so much going on that you will never want to put this book down. Reminded me of the exhilarating feeling one gets from a good thriller. Twists and turns all around, a misterious death, deception, love and great action. Ooh the suspense .... Who to trust!! Has it all: mystery, intrigue, action, espionage AND a heroine that isn’t too stupid to live. Opens with a bang and it's not a quiet ride - plot twists and developments, in addition to the layers of each character being built... whew! Amazing read!! Pulled me in from the start and I couldn't put it down (this isn't just a figure if speech, I really read it on one sitting with a few breaks in between for essential errands!) When they say no one is who they seem to be, take it seriously. What an amazing page turning, can’t put it down, sitting on the edge of your seat book! A page turner and a pure pleasure.

I swear this author must be a time traveler because this story is filled with such awesome details. I don't think I even got up for water! And as always with Cooper Posey's characters they feel so real that its easy to get pulled in to their world for a while. The writing is superb and the story is really interesting. This is one series that I'm going to have to read the rest of. I loved Remi with his hints of vulnerability along side his bad persona. Time traveling, human trafficking and a desperate race against evil. I can never get bored with this series. Everything is so interesting and mind blowing. I've been following Tracy Cooper-Posey for a while now, and she never disappoints. Damn, she can write! To start with, I love history, I'm an academic historian, and her books are really well documented. What a great book, I just loved it. It's like being on a roller coaster, the action never stops and the time travel details are awesome. The characters are wonderfully developed and believable. The suspense is very real and I lost a lot of sleep reading this book lol The chemistry between the three main characters is off the charts and I can't say enough about the steamy sex screens...phew!

Having always been interested in myths and legends, I have found Tracy to be meticulous in weaving known legends and historical detail into original stories that fascinate. Her characters are real, with real problems, in real situations. The scenes are so realistic that I can picture myself being part of the story. I really appreciate the list included at the beginning of the book in “Who’s Who and What’s What” which includes “Houses, Clans and Tribes”. The Maps section is also a great help and fun. If you enjoy history and romance, this book is for you! Once again, a strong tale of incredible women and their adjustments to life at Camelot. You feel the sorrow and the longing the characters have, you understand their needs and wants, disappointments, misunderstandings and desires – Tracy is quite frankly Brilliant. Tracey has an amazing ability to make you feel anxious, thrilled, hurt, relieved. You become so involved with the characters that you feel their apprehension, the what’s going to happen next? Always intriguing, this series is fascinating. So magnificently written that it makes you question the reality of Camelot. The small slice-of-life details of the everyday citizens of Camelot are what bring the tale to life and gives me the sense that I KNOW these characters. Full immersion into the life and times, is such an interesting backdrop to the action and interactions of the storyline. I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a well written and immersive experience in historical times. You don't need to know the legends of Arthur to enjoy any of these books, as I started this series with only a familiarity of the main characters names' and I was completely hooked from the first book! I cannot get enough of this series! This is the legend of King Arthur like you’ve never read before. As with all of Tracy Cooper-Posey’s amazingly detailed and unique characters Tegan is a strong-willed and independent woman with secret vulnerabilities. You can’t help but fall in love with and feel compassion for these characters. Flawless world-building, witty dialogue and plotting that would make Machiavelli proud.

Tracy Cooper Posey once again proves why she is a master at the Romantic Thriller genre. Tracy Cooper Posey writes incredibly strong, intelligent female characters who shine in this series. This had to be one of my favorites of Tracy's numerous works. I haven't read all 100, but I'm getting close to it, and I have yet to be disappointed! You always learn new, interesting and insightful things when you read Tracy’s books, her research is amazing! What a whirlwind adventure! I never saw that coming and now I'm stuck in another series! Though this is a novella, Cooper-Posey still packs in a whale of a story. You can't go wrong with Cooper-Posey - she is an amazing storyteller who develops her characters carefully and yet lovingly. Every story she tells is an engrossing one - and she makes you wish time-travel was indeed a real thing. If you love time travel and haven’t read this series you should start today. Tracy makes you believe in time travel (and vampires) and brings the past to life like no other. As always Tracy astounds me with how she makes the history in her story come to life. My students often muse how much easier it would be to learn about history if they could just go back to that time period for a little while. Cooper-Posey does just that with this installment of this series. It's a beautifully written novella. This book brought me to tears. The true measure of a well written story are the emotions an author is able to wring from a reader. Loaded with familiar characters, a powerful plot pulls you into this story set at the end of World War I and just won't let you go. It's a short read made all the more moving for its brevity. I loved it. Wow, just wow. I cried, I laughed and fell in love all over again with these characters. This book made me cry when I read it - not something I normally do with this series. It was so heartfelt, I couldn't help it.
