Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: FFaith Physics is a new Theory of Everything (ToE) combining ancient spiritual wisdom and modern quantum physics findings to deliver a belief system that is both intellectually sound and spiritually satisfying. It maintains an ineffable Supreme Consciousness is the catalyst of all material creation as a ‘great thought’ through pure white light in zero-point morphogenetic quantum fields. Faith Physics claims that consciousness is the cornerstone of base reality existing in a timeless state of now. By using the natural cause-and-effect laws of classical physics, the uncertainty principle of quantum mechanics, and dark matter/energy, Faith Physics posits pure consciousness manifests physical creation in a remarkable myriad of forms. In the wave/particle duality paradigm revealed by quantum mechanics, conscious observation transforms light energy into particulate physical matter as condensed or frozen light in accordance with Albert Einstein’s famous E=mc2 equation. Faith Physics teaches us we exist and thrive in a unified participatory universe emanating from an eternal Supreme Consciousness source, and we are not just a product of random-chance evolution. In the 21st century, religion and science are reaching an enlightened consensus that pure metaphysical consciousness is perpetually painting a picture on the space-time continuum canvas depicting a miraculous cycle of physical creation, entropy, and cosmic rebirth.

Download or read book QBism written by Hans Christian von Baeyer and published by Harvard University Press. This book was released on 2016-10-03 with total page 268 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Measured by the accuracy of its predictions and the scope of its technological applications, quantum mechanics is one of the most successful theories in science—as well as one of the most misunderstood. The deeper meaning of quantum mechanics remains controversial almost a century after its invention. Providing a way past quantum theory’s paradoxes and puzzles, QBism offers a strikingly new interpretation that opens up for the nonspecialist reader the profound implications of quantum mechanics for how we understand and interact with the world. Short for Quantum Bayesianism, QBism adapts many of the conventional features of quantum mechanics in light of a revised understanding of probability. Bayesian probability, unlike the standard “frequentist probability,” is defined as a numerical measure of the degree of an observer’s belief that a future event will occur or that a particular proposition is true. Bayesianism’s advantages over frequentist probability are that it is applicable to singular events, its probability estimates can be updated based on acquisition of new information, and it can effortlessly include frequentist results. But perhaps most important, much of the weirdness associated with quantum theory—the idea that an atom can be in two places at once, or that signals can travel faster than the speed of light, or that Schrödinger’s cat can be simultaneously dead and alive—dissolves under the lens of QBism. Using straightforward language without equations, Hans Christian von Baeyer clarifies the meaning of quantum mechanics in a commonsense way that suggests a new approach to physics in general.

Book excerpt: How does quantum physics relate to the Bible? Can words move mountains? How did Jesus supersede the laws of physics? There are amazing similarities between the teachings of Jesus and the discoveries of the new physics, quantum theory. The concept of speaking to mountains and trees may not be religious metaphor, but laws of a new physics that have not been fully understood. Jesus taught that our words are powerful enough to move physical matter. Quantum physics has discovered that subatomic particles respond to the observer. In this book, you will discover that your words and your faith (beliefs) are unseen forces that affect everything in your world. You are the one giving substance to your world through words!

Download or read book The Visionary Window written by Amit Goswami and published by Quest Books. This book was released on 2012-12-19 with total page 341 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Does God exist? Can spirituality be integrated with science? Is happiness possible? Do miracles really happen? Not only does The Visionary Window answer " yes" to all of these questions, but it skillfully combines the fields of philosophy, cosmology, religion, and psychology to form a new way of thinking about science and spirituality. Stepping beyond the classic work of prominent seventies physicist Fritjof Capra, Goswami details his own pioneering exploration of science and spirit, revealing the complete integration between modern science and spiritual traditions. Using stories and colorful examples from pop culture, Goswami addresses complex issues in language and terminology easily accessible to the lay reader. He provides quantum physics-based theory and new experimental data verifying the metaphysical truth that exists when employed in the context of a new science, science within the primacy of consciousness. With a new holistic worldview, Goswami also discusses the creativity of the body to self heal; the power of spiritual practice and how to choose a meditative path; and the five stages of spiritual growth, culminating in the ability to transcend the physical laws of nature. Readers, scientists and spiritual leaders alike will find answers to many of life’s deepest mysteries.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: No complicated math in this book! Lots of critical thinking with a new wrinkle. The author analyzes WHY physicists like Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking explain the universe using quantum theory. What is quantum theory? How do we perceive? How is causality flawed? How is reverse time possible? How does language processing happen? How do we understand? How does pattern recognition play a role in perception? What is reality? How does the arrow theory of time make assumptions that time flows in only one direction? How does reverse time travel happen in multidimensional spacetime? The latest explanations come from quantum physics. What is quantum physics? How did quantum physics evolve? How does quantum thinking affect our thoughts? The author bridges the disparity between quantum physics and religion by discussing snippets of logical reasoning offering insight into how both pursuits may coexist. There is no consensus on the origin of life nor the goal of life. How has quantum physics displaced but not replaced religion? What will be the role of religion in the future? The author approaches the elusive issues in a piecemeal way using anecdotes from his own experiences and everyday life. In this quick read, he offers insight into the joys of reasoning.

Book Trespassing on Einstein s Lawn

Download or read book Trespassing on Einstein s Lawn written by Amanda Gefter and published by Bantam. This book was released on 2014-01-14 with total page 434 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: NAMED ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS OF THE YEAR BY KIRKUS REVIEWS In a memoir of family bonding and cutting-edge physics for readers of Brian Greene’s The Hidden Reality and Jim Holt’s Why Does the World Exist?, Amanda Gefter tells the story of how she conned her way into a career as a science journalist—and wound up hanging out, talking shop, and butting heads with the world’s most brilliant minds. At a Chinese restaurant outside of Philadelphia, a father asks his fifteen-year-old daughter a deceptively simple question: “How would you define nothing?” With that, the girl who once tried to fail geometry as a conscientious objector starts reading up on general relativity and quantum mechanics, as she and her dad embark on a life-altering quest for the answers to the universe’s greatest mysteries. Before Amanda Gefter became an accomplished science writer, she was a twenty-one-year-old magazine assistant willing to sneak her and her father, Warren, into a conference devoted to their physics hero, John Wheeler. Posing as journalists, Amanda and Warren met Wheeler, who offered them cryptic clues to the nature of reality: The universe is a self-excited circuit, he said. And, The boundary of a boundary is zero. Baffled, Amanda and Warren vowed to decode the phrases—and with them, the enigmas of existence. When we solve all that, they agreed, we’ll write a book. Trespassing on Einstein’s Lawn is that book, a memoir of the impassioned hunt that takes Amanda and her father from New York to London to Los Alamos. Along the way, they bump up against quirky science and even quirkier personalities, including Leonard Susskind, the former Bronx plumber who invented string theory; Ed Witten, the soft-spoken genius who coined the enigmatic M-theory; even Stephen Hawking. What they discover is extraordinary: the beginnings of a monumental paradigm shift in cosmology, from a single universe we all share to a splintered reality in which each observer has her own. Reality, the Gefters learn, is radically observer-dependent, far beyond anything of which Einstein or the founders of quantum mechanics ever dreamed—with shattering consequences for our understanding of the universe’s origin. And somehow it all ties back to that conversation, to that Chinese restaurant, and to the true meaning of nothing. Throughout their journey, Amanda struggles to make sense of her own life—as her journalism career transforms from illusion to reality, as she searches for her voice as a writer, as she steps from a universe shared with her father to at last carve out one of her own. It’s a paradigm shift you might call growing up. By turns hilarious, moving, irreverent, and profound, Trespassing on Einstein’s Lawn weaves together story and science in remarkable ways. By the end, you will never look at the universe the same way again. Praise for Trespassing on Einstein’s Lawn “Nothing quite prepared me for this book. Wow. Reading it, I alternated between depression—how could the rest of us science writers ever match this?—and exhilaration.”—Scientific American “To Do: Read Trespassing on Einstein’s Lawn. Reality doesn’t have to bite.”—New York “A zany superposition of genres . . . It’s at once a coming-of-age chronicle and a father-daughter road trip to the far reaches of this universe and 10,500 others.”—The Philadelphia Inquirer

Download or read book Eight Years Four Months written by William Joseph Bray and published by CreateSpace. This book was released on 2011-04-01 with total page 396 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Written by a Physicist with 20 years in Neuro-science Medical Research who has experienced numerous medically documented NDEs. The book describes in depth and detail the mysteries of quantum physics and its relationship with consciousness, the fact that we 'paint the universe into being, ' using the NDE to bridge the gap between infinite consciousness and this finite reality and provides for the first time a working definition for consciousness that satisfies all of the requirements in quantum physics and consequently every religion of man, in terms specifically accessible to the lay reader; and goes on to explain in detail 'how we do it, ' how we control time itself by our perception and awareness, how we manipulate the four forces of nature and infinite energy to 'paint the universe into being, ' and have done so since before the creation of this universe itself. The working definition in question simply requires consciousness to be unique and infinite in duration and scope, the evidence of this expressed in terms that challenges the scientific community to find an irrefutable counter argument, which is unlikely, leaving this finite universe to be infinitesimal, to the extent that it does not truly exist, merely an experience of perception that we ourselves define, an extension of ourselves, a 'construct.' Modern mainstream physics has in some cases departed from this original view of the founders of quantum physics who expected future generations to find this working definition for consciousness in order to complete a model that describes a universe interdependent with 'us.' These alternative views that attempt to eliminate consciousness from the equations are described in detail and an explanation in exacting terms where and why they fall short is provided. Although the details of quantum physics have been out of reach for the lay reader to date, the actual details are explained and the math described in terms most anyone can understand. The various paradoxes are described and investigated in detail and upon utilizing this working definition for consciousness that requires infinite unique existence these paradoxes simply 'go away.' Interestingly, these paradoxes extend to philosophy and religion, and using the same definition for infinite unique consciousness even the most unanswerable religious paradoxes disappear; seemingly unanswerable questions such as 'if there is a God why is there so much suffering in the world?' Because you are not here, this is merely a perception, it is not really happening... Being a unique infinite being, you therefore reside in an infinite domain, not this finite universe; you cannot fit an infinite thing inside of a finite 'box.' There have been many attempts by various authors to find these relationships in quantum physics literally filling the bookshelves attempting to validate or construct entire psycho-spiritual belief systems that seem appealing to the lay reader. Unfortunately, since none of them to date have been physicists, their understanding of the science and the vocabulary has been misconception and unintentionally misleading. The corrections to these misconceptions and urban myths are provided as well as dismissing misconceptions and urban myths in science, rather direct and irreverently. But when the correct usage and understanding of quantum physics and its relationship with infinite unique consciousness is applied, an answer does come out of it, an answer far greater in scope than anything written to date. It defines a 'self' that 'paints the universe into being, ' beyond our previous conceptions of our own nature and extends to all life, everywhere. There is a lot of not main stream thinking in science presented here, hypothetical, and speculative, but presented as such. The foundations for these are clearly referenced and easily accessible.
