Book excerpt: Life is a wonderful journey, where we are travelling from one experience to another. At every milestone of journey life keeps unfolding itself. I truly believe that, the belief one holds in beginning of the journey defines the quality of journey. The experience at one milestone may strengthen your belief to move forward with "ease and grace" or "fear and cautiousness." Irrespective and either of the option you choose, life moves on.Coffee Break is a desperately needed break before continuing your journey ahead. To ponder upon lessons you learnt, how good traveller you were, what you missed out in the journey, what you contributed to your fellow travellers, was your journey soul-satisfying or tiring and many such beautiful insights. Every Life is a story in itself. And each one of us want it to be the best story told or written ever. But the question here is "it's your life, deep within your heart, do you feel it is the best story ever?" or you simply wish it to be the best in world's eye. Coffee break take you deep within and raises some serious questions about your very self. Sometimes coffee is not good, but it's always better than not having coffee at all. There might be some questions that you may not want to confront, but those are really really essential for you to grow as "yourself."This book is not about motivation, it's about inspiration. For me "Inspiration" means what comes from "within your spirit." The narrations, the examples, the stories told in this books are life experiences that someone has lived. One can easily relate the scenarios to their own life and experiences. It touches the spirit. The book is the catalyst that can help you raise the question about your journey and kindle quest within you to find the answers of your own. This journey is the journey to be travelled alone, some can enjoy few moments with you, some can be trouble makers, but at the end you are the only one who can complete the journey. So is the case with helping yourself out with questions and finding answers, no one else other than you can do it for you.As said inspiration come from "within your spirit," one has to introspect himself/herself at every milestone of journey and listen to inner voice. Coffee break is not a spiritual book, but can help you understand true meaning of spirituality. My definition of spirituality is very simple - "if you are happy now, you are spiritual," "if do not hold one any grudges for anybody in this very moment, you are spiritual," "if you only have thoughts of do the best you can to help and support others around, you yourself hold the power of divine, you are spiritual." It's all about being yourself. Coffee Break is not even a philosophy, it simply tries to let you know how simple life is and how we tend to make it complicated. Our needs are very few, but our lives are driven by consumerism. Our relationships are really warm but we are controlled by our pre-conceived notions of perfectionism and compatibility. Our health is the greatest asset, yet we ignore to invest time to take its account. Coffee Break, in itself is an amazing experience derived from experience of many lives around me. I'm glad to share with you this experiences. I'm sure you cannot resist but the share this experiences with your loved ones too. Let's brew the coffee together. Cherishing each Sip....!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Have you ever felt forgotten, disregarded, wounded, invisible, or invalidated by others? Do you ever experience the pain and anger of feeling unseen? Has this left you wondering if you’re truly worthy of being acknowledged, listened to, and loved? Oftentimes, when we are in this place, we turn toward God with soul-wrenching questions: Where are you, God? Have you forgotten me? Are you paying attention to what is happening to me? Can I trust that you will act on my behalf? If you’ve asked these questions, you are not alone. Author and Bible teacher Christine Hoover has asked these questions too, and she’s found that none of us are the first to feel overlooked or forgotten—and yet God has always been a “God Who Sees.” In fact, it was a woman named Hagar in the Bible, alone in her desperate wilderness, who first spoke this particular name for God. Her story along with others in Scripture reveal that God not only looks upon us when others disregard us, He looks after us. If you feel disregarded or forgotten, take heart, for your God is One who always remembers His people and acts on behalf of them—and that includes you! He hears your cries, gently shepherds and heals your wounds of disregard, grants you refuge to ask questions, emboldens you with courage to forgive, calls you out of hiding for fear of disapproval, and even gives you eyes to see others in the compassionate way He sees you. No matter who in this world may look right past you, know this: You are not forgotten. Your God is the God Who Sees, and He not only looks upon you but looks after you–always. He is the God who sees….you.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Holden, After and Before is a moving meditation on grief in the same vein as Helen Macdonald's H is for Hawk: a stunning book that traces Tara McGuire’s excavation and documentation of the life path of her son Holden, a graffiti artist who died of an accidental opioid overdose at the age of twenty-one. Beginning with Holden’s death and leaping through time and space, McGuire employs fact, investigation, memory, fantasy, and even fabrication in her search for understanding not only of her son’s tragic death, but also his beautiful life. She navigates and writes across the many blank spaces to form a story of discovery and humanity, examining themes of grief, pain, mental illness, trauma, creative expression, identity, and deep, unending love inside just one of the thousands of deaths that have occurred as a result of the opioid crisis. With poignant honesty and a heart laid bare, Holden, After and Before is a beautiful and moving elegy to a son lost to overdose. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Everyone wants to escape from reality. Art dealers Charles and Deanna Packard obtain what turns out to be a perfect tool for this when they purchase a component from the original New York Pennsylvania Station. This segment of a marble stair is a time portal that enables them to shift into 1939 whenever they are in its original location. Moving through the past like specters and returning whenever they choose is fantastic, but it comes with a price. This portal was created by a German physicist who discovered a flawless method of time travel and bi-location. Learning what the Nazi government planned, he left Germany for the US in 1939. After demonstrating his discovery in Washington, he found no government can be trusted with such power, and had to use his discovery to escape German and American agents in Penn Station. Dr. Schaumberg has been traveling through time as an observer for eight decades, incapable of completing his lifecycle out of fear of what would be released if his discovery becomes known. Researching his name online raises alarms. Dr. Schaumberg is still listed as a person of interest. Art dealers and their graphic artist son are researching an obscure physicist who demonstrated an item of 'extreme military importance'. The feds wonder why. The Packard’s and Schaumberg have to employ a diversion to end government interest in what would fast be an abused power. The purchase of a rare artifact takes the Packard's on a unique adventure, and you take it with them. Tracks of Time brings a twist to the theory of time traveling, while bringing to life an era of hope and fear just before all out war.
