Auf dem neuesten Stand ist dieses Buch von Thomas Baumer, das die gesamte einschlägige Literatur zur Grundlage hat, darüber hinaus aber auch die interkulturelle Managementerfahrung des Autors. Er zählt im ersten Teil des Buches so viele Unterschiede auf, dass man schon resignieren möchte, doch im Folgenden zeigt er mögliche Instrumente und Verhaltensweisen zum Überbrücken der Differenzen. Der Autor macht einen "Rundumschlag", nur mit Praxistipps hält er sich manchmal etwas zurück. Ein schönes Stück Lesearbeit und eine der umfassendsten Darstellungen zum Thema, findet getAbstract und empfiehlt das Buch Führungskräften, besonders denen im Auslandsdienst, die mehr über die mögliche Koexistenz und Kooperation der Kulturen lernen wollen.
