He is responsible only for that which appears as his. The Sketch of his Life is printed as it fell from the venerated authors lips, except that verbal repetitions have been erased, a few omissions were afterwards supplied by him, and some narratives are so transposed as to make the whole as far as practicable appear in the proper order of time.
