Book excerpt: Aujourd'hui, face aux charges de fonctionnement du cabinet dentaire, au prix du matériel qui ne cesse d'augmenter et à une technicité de la dentisterie moderne en plein essor, une réorganisation structurale du cabinet dentaire s'impose afin de mettre en commun des capacités diagnostiques et financières pour assurer une meilleure prise en charge du patient. En tant qu'étudiants en dernière année d'odontologie et donc futurs gestionnaires de cabinet, il nous a paru opportun de nous interroger sur la manière dont les chirurgiens-dentistes déjà installés organisent leur vie professionnelle. A l'aide d'un questionnaire, nous avons donc cherché à recueillir les détails sur le mode d'exercice de tous les chirurgiens-dentistes inscrits au tableau de l'Ordre d'Ille et Vilaine pour en faire ressortir la tendance actuelle en 2019. Ce travail a mis en évidence le fait que les jeunes chirurgiens-dentistes récemment diplômés s'orientent vers un exercice de groupe, principalement en zone urbaine en tant que collaborateur libéral soumis au régime réglementé des BNC. Puis, après quelques années de collaboration, ils intègrent en tant qu'associés des cabinets organisés en SCM. En effet, celles-ci restent le premier choix d'association actuellement grâce à sa facilité de mise en place et ses nombreux avantages. Les SELARL, quant à elles, pâtissent de nombreux obstacles notamment celui d'un formalisme rébarbatif. Néanmoins des praticiens plutôt jeunes s'orientent vers ce choix d'exercice de groupe leur permettant une meilleure gestion de leurs cotisations et une visibilité à long terme.

Book excerpt: L'exercice libéral nécessite un certain nombre de connaissances dans divers domaines tels que le médical, l'administratif, la banque, les assurances, les cotisations sociales, les modalités d'exercice, les types de rémunération, l'ergonomie... Malgré les enseignements dispensés, les jeunes chirurgiens-dentistes ne se sentent pas toujours prêts pour débuter l'exercice de leur profession de manière indépendante. En effet, de nombreuses études montrent que les jeunes chirurgiens-dentistes se sentent relativement bien prêts à soigner des patients au sortir de la faculté mais se considèrent comme peu préparés à la gestion d'un cabinet et à l'exercice libéral. Pourtant en France plus de 90% des étudiants envisagent leur futur exercice professionnel en libéral. Malgré 200 heures de stage actif et un enseignement en T1, l'insertion professionnelle demeure un sujet que les étudiants en chirurgie dentaire pensent peu maîtriser. Les textes législatifs sont pourtant clairs mais parfois difficiles à trouver et à interpréter d'où la nécessité d'apporter un support facilitant aux jeunes praticiens. C'est la raison pour laquelle nous avons décidé de créer un outil ayant pour vocation d'aiguiller le jeune chirurgien-dentiste dans les démarches et procédures à suivre pour débuter dans la profession de manière plus sereine autant d'un point de vue administratif qu'organisationnel. Pour ce faire, nous souhaitons créer un document incluant des fiches d'aide pouvant être utilisées comme un mode d'emploi ou un guide pratique pour accompagner le jeune praticien dans ses démarches de manière intuitive. Ces fiches pourront ensuite être consultables librement sur le site de la faculté de chirurgie dentaire de Strasbourg de manière à être accessibles au plus grand nombre. En ce sens, ce projet a déjà retenu l'attention du vice-doyen en charge de la pédagogie.

Sous ses différentes formes, le salariat concerne aujourd'hui presque 14% des chirurgiens-dentistes de France. Cette augmentation s'explique par les nombreux avantages que procure ce statut et par la création importante de centres dentaires privés autorisés par la loi HPST de 2009.Cette thèse a pour objectif de guider les jeunes diplômés sur les particularités des différents modes d'exercice mais aussi d'informer les praticiens qui souhaiteraient se tourner vers une autre forme d'exercice ou un complément d'activité. Elle se complète d'un dépliant à l'attention de ces étudiants et praticiens s'interrogeant sur la diversité de la pratique odontologique.
