Book excerpt: In today's world where meeting people for the purpose of having sex with a simple click on your phone, a new type of gay sex called 'Party N Play' or 'Chemsex' has become all the rage in the mainstream. Several young gay men were being found dead, appearing to have overdosed on the favorite sex drugs used at these chemsex parties, in a city church yard in east London. Was this what the metro police claimed it was, "a sex drug overdose," or was there something more going on here?It would soon be discovered that a popular 41-year-old, Stephen Port, who had appeared on 'Celebrity Chef UK' would be arrested and charged with four of the young men's murders by overdosing them with GBH, 'The Date Rape Drug, ' enough to kill the men, and then raping them and leaving their bodies out in a church yard.Since the conviction of Celebrity Chef UK, Stephen Port, the police are now reviewing 58 other mysterious deaths by overdose where the body was found dead in the same area of London. There are now 17 police officers under investigation for not investigating the crimes because of their homophobia.Included are several of the personal letters convicted serial killer Stephen Port sent to his friend and pen pal Cody Lachey which reveals what he claims happened to each of the victims and what really happened in these Chemsex parties. You will also find out some of Port's personal details that you wouldn't expect to hear.

Book excerpt: Stephen Port was jailed in November 2016 after luring four young, gay men through dating apps so he could drug them to death and rape them. Easy Kills tracks Port's life and crimes and questions the role of Barking and Dagenham Police, who were investigated by the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) as a result. Officers neglected to check Port's electronic devices when the first overdosed body turned up outside his flat in June 2014. They found Port had called 999 trying to pose as a bystander after hiring the young man as an escort. He was not charged with murder, but perverting the course of justice. In August 2014, a second body turned up 400 yards from Port's front door. The young immigrant's corpse showed signs of being dragged. No investigation was opened. Less than one month later, another body turned up in the same churchyard. Port was jailed in March 2015 after being given eight months for perverting the course of justice. He served just under three. Had he served the full sentence, he wouldn't have been free to murder his fourth victim, Jack Taylor.

Book excerpt: Sarah Sak's son, Anthony Walgate, was murdered by gay serial killer Stephen Port after they met on dating app Grindr. Stephen Port was sentenced to life imprisonment at the Old Bailey in November 2016. The case received extensive press coverage not only because of the horrific nature of the crimes but also because the police refused to investigate Anthony's death despite three more bodies being found in near identical circumstances. It was not until Scotland Yard's crime squad took over that Stephen Port was arrested, charged, convicted and sentenced to life in prison. Sarah Sak's courage and perseverance helped to achieve justice for her much-loved son and now she campaigns for better policing, to recognise and link crimes, support families, counter homophobia and raise greater public awareness of the dangers of dating sites/apps, to prevent further deaths. She wants to tell the story of the murder of son and the other men who died in an attempt to understand how this could have happened and the role that social media played in their death.

Book excerpt: AN ANTHOLOGY OF TRUE CRIMEIt was September 14th 2015 when Jack Taylor, a 25 year old gay man was found dead in St Margaret's church in East London. 'If that's where Jack's been found, someone's put him there, ' said Jack's sister, Jen. 'The Police could have put a stop to it, and Jack would still have been here.'Three previous murders had been committed in 2014. In each case, a body was found within a short distance of the others - sometimes in the exact same spot. Yet police assumed there was no connection between the crimes. It was only after the discovery of Jack's body that investigators realised they had a serial killer on their hands. Earlier that month, Jack made contact with the man who would go on to poison him on the gay dating site, Grindr. That person was Stephen Port, a forty year old Chef who lived in Barking, East London. When Jack went missing, his family were in an immediate panic. 'We were all trying to get hold of him, explained Jen. 'We were chasing up his friends.'We will see later that the Metropolitan Police really do not come out well in the entire case of Stephen Port. Two weeks after he was found, Jack's family were still pestering police for more information. Finally, some CCTV footage they had was shared. It showed Jack meeting up with an older man. It was the early hours of the morning, an unusual time to meet a friend. The older man in the footage was, of course, Stephen Port.

Book Beyond Suspicion Russell Williams A Canadian Serial Killer

Download or read book Beyond Suspicion Russell Williams A Canadian Serial Killer written by Rj Parker and published by Independently Published. This book was released on 2018-10-23 with total page 232 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Young girl's panties started to go missing; sexual assaults began to occur, and then female bodies were found! Soon this quiet town of Tweed, Ontario, was in panic. What's even more shocking was when an upstanding resident stood accused of the assaults. This was not just any man, but a pillar of the community; a decorated military pilot who had flown Canadian Forces VIP aircraft for dignitaries such as the Queen of England, Prince Philip, the Governor General and Prime Minister of Canada. This is the story of serial killer Russell Williams, the elite pilot of Canada's Air Force One, and the innocent victims he murdered. Unlike other serial killers, Williams seemed very unaffected about his crimes and leading two different lives. Alan R. Warren describes the secret life including the abductions, rape and murders that were unleashed on an unsuspecting community. Included are letters written to the victims by Williams and descriptions of the assaults and rapes as seen on videos and photos taken by Williams during the attacks. This updated version also contains the full brilliant police interrogation of Williams and his confession. Also the twisted way the Williams planned to pin his crimes on his unsuspecting neighbor.

Book excerpt: It was a crime unlike anything seen in British Columbia. The horror of the "Wells Gray Murders" almost forty years ago transcends decades. On August 2, 1982, three generations of a family set out on a camping trip - Bob and Jackie Johnson, their two daughters, Janet, 13 and Karen, 11, and Jackie's parents, George and Edith Bentley. A month later, the Johnson family car was found off a mountainside logging road near Wells Gray Park completely burned out. In the back seat were the incinerated remains of four adults, and in the trunk were the two girls. But this was not just your average mass murder. It was much worse. Over time, some brutal details were revealed; however, most are still only known to the murderer, David Ennis (formerly Shearing). His crimes had far-reaching impacts on the family, community, and country. It still does today. Every time Shearing attempts freedom from the parole board, the grief is triggered as everyone is forced to relive the horrors once again. Murder Times Six shines a spotlight on the crime that captured the attention of a nation, recounts the narrative of a complex police investigation, and discusses whether a convicted mass murderer should ever be allowed to leave the confines of an institution. Most importantly, it tells the story of one family forever changed.
